  1. Re: A Thread for Random Musings "Someday I hope you get the chance to live like you were dying." Why do I get the feeling Tim McGraw was thinking of his father when he made this song? It's a beautiful song, by the way.
  2. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Things are alright. The girls are all healthy and mostly happy. Kara's . . . well, Kara's Kara. How are things with you?
  3. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER You're all loopy, if you ask me.
  4. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Hiya back.
  5. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Same here.
  6. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER You could have just looked in the upper right hand corner of the last post. It tells you what number post in the thread you're at.
  7. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER How true.
  8. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER They don't like squid heads?
  9. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Because you smell fishy?
  10. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER If they were talking baseballs, there would have been no crying icons in the post. lol
  11. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Excuse me, but why is my wife being mentioned in the same sentence as male genitalia?
  12. Re: The cranky thread That sucks. You should've keyed his car on the way out.
  13. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I know it's late, but happy birthday, Robert.
  14. Re: The cranky thread Depends on the wife, I guess. Is it my imagination, or does everyone forget that this isn't an all boys club? lol
  15. Re: The cranky thread Actually, he should ask for one as a matter of course. We'll keep your family in our thoughts, misterdeath.

    Nemesis

Re: Nemesis Never heard of the character. I was debating on having her leave a signature, but I was thinking more along the lines of something akin to a charm in the shape of the scales of justice. I'm not sure.
  17. Re: The Harbinger of Justice Thread I don't know if this is an appropriate question or not, but there's no harm in asking, right? Any chance of seeing an early write up of him? I'm thinking it might give me some ideas for my Nemesis character. We're ordering DC through Kara's comic shop because we get a killer discount from them, but I'd like to have Nemesis done before then.
  18. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Peculiar situation. Power went out yesterday about five. At about 11:00, the small light we had on in the bedroom flickered on. We tried the computer and sure enough, we had power. Or so we thought. When we got up this morning, only our bedroom, Erin's room and the bathroom had power. The rest of the house didn't, and doesn't. The circuit breakers seem to all be in the right position, so we're befuddled.

  20. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Mint chocolate chip ice cream is good.
  21. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER The character. Kara's dressed as she normally is at home.
  22. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER A couple of months ago, Kara beat Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance on our PS2. She's found the invulnerability cheat code and has decided to play the game again so she can have the elven sorceress run around in what Kara calls "Supergirl mode." This, of course, enables Kara to have the character running around with no clothes or armor on. Of course, she's giggling like crazy as she's mowing down the drow with her mostly naked character. Does this strike anyone else as just more than a little odd?
  23. Re: The cranky thread If I ever get my hands on whoever sent the virus that is slowing my computer's download speed from 3 megs down to slower than 56k, I will slowly, over the course of months, beat him or her to death. Same goes for whoever's responsible for sandboxer.com. :
  24. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Well, after running anti-virus three times, Ad Aware twice, as well as doing every diagnostic/clean up in the Norton SystemWorks package, I think I finally have the computer up to par. At least the pop ups aren't appearing every time I try to open a program, and I'm at somewhat normal speed. I'm not trying the e-mail until our computer expert friend comes over tomorrow evening and takes a look at it. Amazing the kind of service you can get for the cost of a home cooked meal.
