SoroProject
Reading Healing power, it states it can only restore a stat to its maximum effect once a day but when I read the other adjustment powers it seems as if they don't have this limitation, Is this true? Grailknight
Yes, to keep the Power in balance, otherwise you could heal all wounds in a matter of minutes an unlimited number of times per day.
Christopher R Taylor
Yeah that is the way they decided to try to control the power level of healing: you can heal each wound the maximum amount you can roll on the dice of healing once per day; an advantage lets you buy down that time period to be sooner. Other adjustment powers are balanced in other ways, usually by fade, but healing doesn't fade away.
SoroProject
I think I was unclear. Couldn't someone use Aid to heal consumable stats? If so, wouldn't Aid have the same restrictions as Healing?
Christopher R Taylor
No, Aid can be bought so that it can only raise a stat to its starting level (acting like heal) but it still fades at 5 points per time increment as normal. Aid is temporary, Heal is permanent, or at least permanent until the stat is spent some more or damage is sustained.

LoneWolf
You could use Aid to seem to restore a stat, but it is not really restoring the stat. Aid fades away at a set rate when this happens the character is right back where they started. So, if I use Aid to increase my BODY, but when it wears off, I am still wounded. Using Aid for BODY also does not change the point when death occurs so doing so will not prevent you from dying. For example, if you normally have 10 BODY and have taken 6 BODY and use AID to restore it, you still die at -10 BODY. Using AID BODY can result in the sudden death of a character when it wears off. If the character above took 14 more BODY and the Aid wears off, he would be at -10 BODY and would be dead. Healing actually restores the characteristic and does not fade. Hugh Neilson
Think of it this way. Heal END is like a good night's sleep or a rest. Aid END is a high-caffeine stimulant that wears off pretty quickly. Christopher R Taylor
SoroProject
is it correct If someone 1d6 aid stun to a wounded target for 6 points then the target takes 6 points of stun damage would it come off the aid first so there won't be 6 points to fade?
