In cgs units, the mass of the Sun is 2e+33. That was in the denominator, hence a minus sign in the exponent on page N. Haste-induced miscopying lost that sign in the continuation on page N+1. Further down the page I got a numerical result that something was Very Wrong (and I wrote "oh s**t" on the exam paper, which earned the comment "Good to see such practical consideration in our students" in the margin in red ink).
