zornwil
Re: The cranky thread There was no Ren Faire for me at all this past weekend... Sorry, that really sucks. Any chance you can get to another one in the near future in a 100 mile radius?

I spent half an hour stacking and unstacking trash cans so that my wife could buy the cleanest ones. I tried hinting--"You know these are [i']trash[/i] cans, right?"--but to no avail. lemming
Re: The cranky thread Gah. Trying to figure out which pictures to use for the main story of the newsletter is being a major pain this issue. Time to go through the archive of 2000 pictures. it probably wouldn't be so bad, but I'm late with no excuse.
BlackSword
Re: The cranky thread That was my listening to Romeo & Juliet. (Though the song was on a random mp3 CD that I made) Gah, getting Soundtracks and posters mixed up. (I know both songs are on Sndtrks I own, just forgot which movie the songs went with)

Guest Skaramine
Re: The cranky thread Ok... I help my Mom out by washing dishes. Not just simple forks and tossing paper plates, but washing SPAGHETTI (actually Mostaccoli) and the saucepans and the frying pan for the sausage and the bowl with the covering plate and bowls... What does it get me? Mom "The water is going over." Me "Well I got it, but all of these dishes need to be done!" (in high pitched, annoyed voice) Mom "Then don't do them." Me "Right. I'm stupid and I'll let the water get everywhere." Mom "That's because you let stuff pile up." Me "I'm doing the dishes!" (once more the shrill voice on me) Mom "That's unacceptable. You lose your temper." Seriously. The [censored] DOES NOT KNOW WHAT LOSING YOUR TEMPER IS! And I had the frying pan just in reach to show her what a temper was. Shows a lot of imagination, doesn't it? Ouch. I can't imagine who... See, to me, if I'm actually angry enough to call someone that...I actually go for something more insulting than just vulgarity. From my mother, as I mentioned elsewhere. People's hot buttons are not pressed by that sort of thing. And I do know a few hot buttons I could press on you and others, and if I were actually moved to that level of vitriol, you'd know it. OTOH, it takes a lot to get me that angry. Angry, not much actually, despite appearances, but not that angry. Also, actually, I'm not at all likely to get angry at people that I know as friends. Family, close loved ones, co-workers...that's where my fuse is.
