JayH
Re: Your Favorite Useless Power Extra Limb - Prehensile Scrotum. Actually' date=' this could have some potential uses, though not of the sort likely to come up in a CHAMPIONS campaign. Maybe when PORN HERO is released[/quote'] Sorry to come back to this one... but there was a movie call "The Specials" in 2000 where one of the supers had a "fleshy" appendage protruding from his chest. Later it's revealed that it's his scrotum, but the hole in his uniform was such as to mislead the public. It vaguely held my attention because A) it was about supperheroes in daily life, and it had my favorite actor Thomas Haden Church (heh heh). And since my first contribution idea was taken (ranged taste), I present a classic I've always loved: (As character's only mutant power) Invisibility vs. Mutant detectors. It doesn't mimic reality, but it's funny, so it gets a thumbs-up from me. In one of my campaigns, Arizona Smith (obvious Indiana Jones ripoff) had a power like that, in that whenever he appeared out of nowhere or did something that saved the day, the "Indiana Jones" Theme Music would play. He or someone else would invariably look around and ask "Where the heck is that coming from?"

One of the music based characters I was playing around with had vague and unclear Clairsentience (retrocognition and precognition) and various detects, defined as nearby radios playing songs in answer to his questions. Hiis danger sense would be the Jaws theme for mooks and the Vader theme for high-powered bad guys.

Hiis danger sense would be the Jaws theme for mooks and the Vader theme for high-powered bad guys. I love that idea! That's both fun and appropriate, especially for a more action-movie sort of character. You could do so much with that... Foxbat shows up and the Three Stooges theme plays in the background...the seductive villainness shows up, and the character perceives "wocka wocka" style 70s porn music in the background...
