Then there's Zip, Whizz, Zoom, and similar onomatopoeiac words. Cheetah, Impala, Greyhound and similar animal terms. Runner, Dasher, Sprinter, and other verb-related nouns. He wore a mostly black costume (and was nicknamed Jet-Black almost at once). As a sidebar, Jet was FAST! The first time I played him I was joining an established group and it went something like this: (Friend of mine) "So Charles! What kind of character are you playing?" (Me) "A speedster...my first."
