hooligan x
I had to go to Wal-mart to return the two identical coffee makers and the copy of Star Trek III that my sister gave me. While I was walking through the toy section, I saw this Blood Bowl rip off. From Pawtucket to you, behold Battleball, I got it for 11 bucks and I probably will never play the game, but these figures are destined for the x-acto! If you need robots, power armor, or cybered-up freaks, scoot down to the Wal-mart. Battleball was published in 2003 and is out of print, but there was a metric heinieload in Hamden Connecticut this afternoon. I'll bet the company is low on toys and is filling the shelves with old junk from the back of the warehouse to try to soak up the kids Gramma Money while they're out on vacation. Oh, and get this: The game comes with 4d6, 2d8, 2d10, and 2d20. No dice bag or doritos though.
proditor
Re: Wal-mart Miniatures Score! Heh...I grabbed a set from a local Kay-Bee Toys for about the same. Great minds and all that.
aylwin13
Re: Wal-mart Miniatures Score! Man, hooligan, why didn't you tell me earlier? I was just at Wallyworld on the way home from work this PM. I did, however, score a copy of Hellboy for $9 and change.

I missed Wallyworld, but found the 2 Disc Directors Special Edition of Hellboy for $9.98 (Canadian).

J.J.
Re: Wal-mart Miniatures Score! It's also been on clearance for about $10 at Toys R Us for like half a year (prior to that, $5...). So if you're interested and without a Walmart nearby, try your local TRU.

Eyendasky80
Re: Wal-mart Miniatures Score! Those look nice, good find. If I see it, I'll probably grab it. We're in the middle of a move though, so it might not happen.
Roger Abbott
Re: Wal-mart Miniatures Score! Thanks for the heads up. I'm always on the look out for cheep minatures to use for my champions game. For those of you that like to use props with your minatures Wall mart also sells these cheep power racer cars that are to scale with hero clix minatures. They look half way decent and are just $2.00 each!
