proditor Posted May 10, 2006 Report Share Posted May 10, 2006 Okay, here we go again. First up, we're heading well south of the border and stopping off in the land of Carnivale, Brazil. Now what I know about Brazil can be summed up with "Hot women in costume" "Excellent Guarana based Sodas" and "They speak Portugese". So...help me out again. Oh, in regard to the previous threads, once I start getting some more paint on figs, we hit round two where I show you the pics and we start seeing if any of you want to help me stat these suckers out. Brazil Team Name: ? There will be an attempt to mod up an El Dorado to serve on this team. 1) Brawler type, possibly light brick 2) Brick. Tough pebbly skin, super strength. 3) Female Gun Bunny, decent HTH, variable loads for the guns 4) Stretchy dude with a big head. Okay, gimme what ya got! And stay tuned for the next post, which will cover Argentina. EDIT: I did not paint the first guy, so the costume color is in flux. From that I got: Martelo (hammer) Armamento (arsenal) Borracha (rubber, as latex from trees - suits a stretchy dude with a big head) I'll have to give more thought to the Spanish ones; but I did once create a growing brick type called Andes, after the major South American mountain range. I paint them as I get names as that seems to help crystalize costume concepts and what not. Like Magni, from my German team, has a nice Marvel Thor homage feel to him.
