I added the Ice prison on a whim. In any of the games she cant do this type attack, But It made sence to me she could.

Picture an eye ball about the size of a basket ball surrounded bye a tear drop body with bat wings and 2 very short claws like legs and a mouth with sharp pointed teeth right below the big eye. The skin color is a dark green and brown color. So it can hide in the forests and scrub lands.

Its preferred hunting method is snipping its food with its eye beams. It never is alone it travels in packs

Hello all hero Dom

I am back and inspired. I have bean thinking about my New FF. game Ideas were I am going to take a lot of FF. races monsters and use the earth as my setting. Mostly because I am a bit lazy and I don’t have a map making program to do the job. I am sorry to those of you have had the same idea as I, on using earth as a fantasy setting. I will be posting more stuff soon. I hope you all will like it.

Description: a red gem kind of like a ruby except under closer examination you can see flames moving in side of the gem.

Mounted in weapon: gives +5 to str, +2d6(fire EL) normal 10pts, OAF (weapon)-1, OAF(material)-1, (8pts) Gm negates points spent for this

Defense mounting (armor or item) 50% damage reduction 30pts, Oaf(item or AR.)-1, Oaf(mat-1, (10pts) Gm negates points spent for this

 

Starting: 4d6 Energy Blast=20pts, indirect +1/2, 30pts= OAF (mat)-1, Rskill-1/2= 8pts End 3

2nd 8d6 EB 40pts, indirect +1/2, 60 points = OAF(mat)-1 = 30pts, Rskill-1/2=15pts End 6

3rd 12d6 EB 60pts, indirect +1/2, 90pts= OAF(mat)-1 = 45pts,Rskill-1/2= 23pts End 9

 

In my FF. Game player’s only pays the starting 8 pts for the materia. To bind it to them so they can get the benefits of mounting it. If they do not bind the Fire materia to them selves, it is double the skill penalty to use.

Just a nitpick: You might want to lower the INT and EGO scores of the beetle to reflect an Animal level intelligence. And are you sure you want their "Lance" to do 2D6+1K? On a charge (the most likely way their lance weapon is going to be used) they'll be able to muster the full 4 1/2D6K damage (AP to boot!). Thats a big ouch. (hope your PC's are wearing armor!)

Oh, and I like the fact that you gave them two-weapon fighting skill. That makes 1 beetle a challenge for a party of heroes. Oh, and how much armor do these guys posses? (I see the PD and ED, but don't see armor..its a beetle and should have a resistant carapace)

here some thing for some of you to think about.

you have a mage who has a fire materia and has the fire spell, and he wants to use the fire materia to augment his spell. I say he can if he has two-weapon fighting other wise he suffers full peneltys.

After a long talk with NSG. I agreed with the idea of useing the levels of the materia as skill levels for the spell caster.

It is realy bad when your computer Hard drive dies takeing all your hard work with it. Yes yes i know back up your stuff. to bad my flash drive that i was useing as a back up for thies files when rouge

 

 

I had to come back and get all my monsters and stuff!!
