Wrapping up my series of Christmas inspired post with this one: for the holiday season, what did you character get (if anything) for Christmas and who did they get it from? Also, if you want, what did they ask for or want?

Millennium: Wants his own comic book, and if he got it it was from Stan Lee.

 

Cheeta: Renual of his NFL contract from his General Manager, and several ladies phone numbers from the ladies themselves.

 

Iron Will: A gift certificate for 52 milk shakes from Baskin Robbins, from his parents.

 

Snow Leopard: Progress on curbing global warming, from Al Gore.

 

Dolphin: Is Buddhist, normally doesn't expect Christmas gifts. But would like progress on an anti-whaling treaty from the Japanese.

Tao got a few suits of clothing and civilian clothing from the other members of team, and probably a First Person Shooter type video game and anime DVDs that Addy thoought she might appreciate (Black Lagoon, Gunsmith Cats, anything with lots of gunplay and battles).

 

Ivy mostly got the pleasure of seeing her children enjoy their gifts, but she may have gotten some books of poetry from the rest of the team and, as a gag, a chia pet.

 

Shidoku doesn't have friends close to think of giving her a gift. Ken, her rather perverted contact might have gotten her something but its probably not something that could be mentioned on the board.

 

Eve got a neural chip upgrade chip from her daddy, a collectors edition series of Barbies and a gift certificate to Build a Bear!

 

Velocity got some books on meditation and feminist oriented wicca from her mother, a Ipod nano and some upgrades for her computer some new clothes and some Trade paper backs for her favorite comies and RPGs books from her dad, and a movie gift certifate from them both. Her parents are divorced and sort of try "one up" each other so she makes out like a bandit on Christmas and Birthdays.

 

Valkryie receved some cat care books, a collection of historic romances, and some more flattering outfits (that'll she'll probably never make herself wear).

Jack "Crash" Parker got a Mansion next door to his employer. His employer is a filthy rich business man who has the spirit of an Arthurian Knight who was written out of the histories inside him. He can summon a magic sword and magic armor. He is a superhero. He is also a bit of a coward and hired Jack to be his bodyguard/team member for $10,000/day. The Mansion has a Trouble Alert for the bosses mansion and a tunnel connecting them.

 

Just one of the many perks for working for one of the worlds richest men.

Enforcer: Probably got some calogne or silk undies from one of his female friends. Probably some anime from his one time employer.

Captain Blaster: Greatest American Hero on DVD; a gag gift from Bill Gates.

 

Mantis: a collection of Swashbuckler film DVD's from his girlfriend, Linda.

An attempted assault and impromptu sparring match from her brother, Deng.

The Cat Without a Name: A human/cat, cat/human dictionary & phrasebook. (Not for himself, but for his human servants.)

 

Bob Tiger: The part of Hobbes in Calvin and Hobbes: The Movie.

 

Lance O'Bannon, The Singing Cowboy: Yet Another gaudy "western" outfit with matching boots, gloves, hat and bandanna. A large crate full of wooden targets shaped like hands with pistols in them.

Jake the Troll - got season 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer from his mom and dad; got a "Property of Muppet University" sweatshirt from his older sister; got a sterm talking to by a minor norse diety about "the true meaning of Yule".

 

Icon - kevlar-lined costume from her dad and the Argus City Special Case Squad. A dancing Fry Guy from Ami Ziwinski, her friend and confidant. A subscription to the new Supergirl comic from her mother.

 

Shinji Miromoto - he's Buddhist, but he's also Japanese, so he understand the concept. Probably got his overcoat sewed up by one of the folks in the Outcasts, and some money from his parents.

Hadn't given it much thought since the game isn't active right now...

 

Anthem - Got a stuffed animal given to her by the little girl three apartments down, and lots of food brought over by other neighbors who appreciate how she keeps an eye on things and know she doesn't have much money.

 

Uncle Slam - Received the standard acquaintance gifts from people who know him (expensive cigars, brandy). The noteworthy gift is a photo album made by his female assistant who has a crush on him; it includes photos of him with many famous people (Every president since the 1920s, the Dali Lama, Muhamad Ali, etc.)

 

Audra Blue - Ducks the holiday entirely, retreating from the world entirely until the holiday is over. Truthfully, she's been jacked-in to the network and having an online Christmas with people who are no longer around. It's how she gets through the holidays.

Boll Weevil- Clothes. Having four arms prevents him from buying off the rack. BW is one of the only members of the Abnormals who wears a uniform so Capes & More has his measurements on file.

 

Wombat- Same thing. Wombat is 9'1" so he also presents a bit of a clothing challenge. Books and DVDs are welcome gifts too as Wombat doesn't leave the base as often as the others.

 

Reggie (formerly Mr Death before the copyright issue)- Books, and lots of them. Reggie reads several books a day. He also gets a lot of wine from the other guys who know he enjoys it but, of course, the selections are usually a bit of a disappointment. They mean well but they know little about wine.

 

Captain Cockroach- Food, booze and cigars. Perry likes to indulge in many vices because he can...he is indestructible. The other guys chipped in and got him memberships to the Newport Aquarium and area museums.

Karma: Lots of shiny, from all the nice people with their easily avoidable security. Bet they wish they were home for the holidays.

 

Fore-eyes: A nice glasses case from the gang who got the 'Unbidden' (Invisible to Precognition) to buy it for him and put it under the tree.

 

Teen-Guardians Hardball: Socks from Mum, Money from Dad, alot of handmade stuff from his friends at the circus. A warm glow like he hasn't felt in 10 years.

 

Silver-moon: 'Wolf-Lake' collection from Sanguina. A magic silver pentagram charm from Athame (along with a lecture on how Christianity has co-opted the season from it's pagan roots). Alot of cheap costume jewelry from her friends.

 

Sanguina: A nasty look and a nice new silk half-cloak from Silver-Moon. A nasty look and a magic silver pentagram charm from Athame (along with halves on the lecture). A long sharp piece of wood with a holly and ivy sprig from her favorite hunter (who was nice enough to miss her heart, bless him). A sprig of mistletoe from a devoted fan (who she left weak and happy).

 

Athame: Long suffering looks from Silver-Moon and Sanguina along with a silk robe from Silver-Moon ("For when your casting skyclad and you have surprise visitors") and a 'Charmed' boxed-set from Sanguinia. Some handmade scented candles and new chalice from the coven.
