Re: Seeking Existing FH Website: Dragon races/martial...

I answered my own question... i finally located this incredibly interesting campaign. Its got dragon knights and all sorts of cool stuff.

the web page is:

http://members.tripod.com/~hawk_wind/homepage.html

The Land of Trinalia

I don't know how i found it originally but its lots of fun.

Oh yeah. Whatever happened to Hawkwind anyway? The HERO poster' date=' not the band.[/quote']

I don't even remember what name Alan Kohler posted under here. :(

I also liked his Rising Sun "Mythic Nippon" HERO campaign material. Adding that to Mark "Markdoc" Doherty's Sengoku HERO stuff would make for a tremendous Japan-based fantasy campaign.

Re: Seeking Existing FH Website: Dragon races/martial...

I'm worried that our fantasy hero campaign sites are starting to dwindle.

The fantasy hero treasure trove site lists campaigns at the bottom, where at least half are now dead links.

Please post your links to FH sites if you can.

Just as soon as I get some content written for it. :) I have the design firmly in place, I just haven't done much in the writing department.

Re: Seeking Existing FH Website: Dragon races/martial...

I have a good deal of stuff permalinked on my forums. The website contains other Hero Stuff (TM). Here is the direct link to resources for The Last Dominion but be sure to check out Legends and The Warlords of Winter pbp Campaign.

I also have plans to dump a kaboodle of Stargate info on the site.

The main site is Pencilpushers.net but I find it much easier to keep things on a forum. I'd like to branch that out into a wiki but don't have the knowledge or time to learn right now.

Couse, there is Killer Shrikes site. Keith Curtis also has a nice site. Markdocs was already mentioned. Fitz has a great site. The only other one I can think of off the top of my head is Greyhero by Hierax (sp) but he hasn't been around much that I have seen.

Susano's site has a fantasy section.

Here's the specific link to Markdoc's Astounding Cyber Empire O'Doom, and Killer Shrike's High Fantasy HERO. We also have Yamo's Forgotten Realms HERO, Keith Curtis's Savage Earth, and for more Oriental fantasy, Wuxia HERO.

I'll dig up some more when I have more time.

If it is the same Hawkwind I am thinking of he gets about in some retarded corners of the world. We used to work together before he hitched and moved. I only gamed with him once or twice but two of my best friends were good buddies of his. Strange small world we live in....

Still, I haven't seen him post in more than a year.

This is why (speaking as a librarian) I encourage folk to use my wiki to store things.

I don't have time to convert all the lost sites into wiki pages, but if folk are willing and able to contact the original creators - it would be a good start.

Most pages are stored at archive.org
