Re: Almost how it might go down in a DC Game

I completely agree. I would like to note the elegance of the operation reminds me of something that a clever group of PCs might do in a Dark Champions game, which is why I posted this here instead of in the NGD.

EDIT: What the heck? Posted another message in the NDG.

Rumor mill on some web sites is that the Mossad had a hand in planning. Daring and effective.

A good example of how good scouting and risk taking can lead to a GREAT operation.

Tip of my hat to the brave Columbians who pulled this one off.

not for the operators

bet those guys are hi 5's and thanking god it is miller time

I mean lets have a gun fight in some helicopters

1 wrong bullet and that ship goes down and they all die

besides FARC is now the laughing stock of their commuity now

question is can they live this down or will this be the straw that broke the burro's back

It's funny' date=' I always hope that real world operations go off without a hitch but I'm always disappointed when in game ones do, it always feels anti-climactic.[/quote']

i guess thats what you call IRONY

It certainly wasn't intended to be.

I am glad that the real world operation went off well and I hope that other such operations meet with similar success.

When playing a game, however, I want things to go wrong, I want there to be unexpected challenges and I want things to not be three hours of planning followed by ten minutes of a description of how the plan went right when I'd have more foun with 10 minutes of planning followed by 3 hours of how it went wrong and how we made it work anyway.
