Cygnia
Re: Unworkable Premises for a Campaign I'm getting flashbacks from that one George Michael video ("Too Sexy", if I recall correctly).
Matt the Bruins
Re: Unworkable Premises for a Campaign Close, "Too Funky." That's where the dress first appeared to the public. The designer, Thierry Mugler, was also the director of the video.
megaplayboy
Re: Unworkable Premises for a Campaign Let's see, he has a bunch of ex-wives who kinda sorta get along with each other, and they all have superpowers? That sounds like the "Hunted" from H#ll. If only he were a FLDS member... __________________ A great one-shot premise that's hard to work into an ongoing campaign is to play a group of truly inept supervillains. Alternatively, there's this one: The Ravagers of Justice, the worst superhero team ever. "Super heroes, or super schmucks? You decide!" The concepts I came up with: Mr. Superior, a supes type, only played with a maximum amount of patronizing condescension El Diablo Blanco, hero of Harlem Cosmopolazon (lots of bad stereotypes of women embodied here) Warhawk(Iron Man + Hawkman--basically he uses his identity to promote weapon sales) AlieAndroid(the one kinda decent person on the team, who of course is treated like crap by everyone else) Straight Arrow (closeted homophobe) RealAmerican (xenophobe) Jupiter(arrogant , womanizing storm god, rival of Mr. Superior) KingFish(arrogant aquatic hero) FlashMob(duplicating speedster with mob connections) MegaMILF(Power Girl + Ms. Marvel, minus any interest in being taken seriously) BiWitch(Duplicating sorceress, bipolar and bisexual) Ringbearer (anything but brave, tends to overthink things) feel free to add to the list

Matt the Bruins
Re: Unworkable Premises for a Campaign It's a shame we're not all in one location to make tabletop a possibility. It would have been a fun campaign.
