Not up on my X-men lore It is Storm, but I don't know if they hooked up in the "main" Marvel continuity. I was looking up "Cyclops Storm" to see if such a relationship was hinted at during the entirety of X-Men. Well... Alternative reality? Different timeline? I don't know. Still, it is an interesting idea: Storm has basically been the X-Men's second-in-command whenever she and Cyclops are in the field. Cancer Posted May 5, 2021 Report Share Posted May 5, 2021 Your set-up looks good, but when I copy your diagrams and measure them myself with ImageJ I get some significant differences from your results. In particular the "1b" angle measurements you have look severely off to me; rather than 52 and 53 degrees I find angles more like 41 and 19. I think those raw measurements are badly flawed. In part 2 the issue is that the beam coming through the water in the container strikes the edge of the container in the rounded-off corner. That means what you've chosen for the normal in your angle measurement isn't actually the normal to the wall at the point where the beam actually encounters it. It would have been best to shift the container a bit so that the beam encountered the flat side of the container safely away from that corner.
