csyphrett
The Maroon Slider is named for the turtles common to the islands of that part of the world. His armored form is frequently seen at sea protecting ships and tourists. csyphrett
Jamaica was once known as the land of springs. Something lurks in the waters, pulling in helpless victims and drowning them. csyphrett
The hero known as the Protector patrols the island, stopping minor crimes as he goes. Many foreign villains think he's a d-list hero at best. That's before they learn he can call on the people of the island to enhance his mental and physical abilities. That has cost many a scheme for foreigners. CES

assault
Possessing rather mediocre levels of superstrength, speed, flight and invulnerability, Dame Europa (Lady Europe) has, perhaps naively, adopted the role of a symbol of European unity. Her costume is based on the flag of the European Union. While largely unsuccessful in her self-appointed role, she has established a reasonable degree of personal popularity. She speaks multiple languages, of course.

freakboy6117
Gigi Lagaffe( aka gadget girl) bumbling, clumsy, absent minded and accident prone Belgium's premier gadgetter seems an unlikely superhero. often compared to the comic strip character "Gaston Lagaffe" from whom the press named her. able to whip up extraordinary devices from mundane household appliances while her inventions seem to go wrong almost as much as they work as intended even her accidents seem to be beneficial. Many have suggested that her inventions are nothing of the sort and suggest she is a very powerful reality warper/luck manipulator . Certainly her chaotic often clownish actions always seem to work out for her.
freakboy6117
I actually came up with another 3 heroes for Jamaica but didn't want to hog them all. The three Ladies of Jamaica. representing the flag of Jamaica. black, green, and gold are Pan-African colors, representing the country's black majority population. An earlier interpretation of the colors was, "hardships there are but the land is green and the sun shineth": gold recalls the shining sun, black reflects hardships, and green represents the land. However, that was changed to the colour black representing the strength and creativity of the people which has allowed them to overcome the odds, yellow for the golden sunshine and green for the lush vegetation of the island. Miss Black is the team leader a clairvoyant medium with a team of thirteen ghost she can call upon to act as her scouts advise her or even possess her and allow her to use there skills martial artist tactician and skill master. psycho-metry and precognition. technically teh least powerful member but the most flexible and often the more dangerous Miss Gold Solar powered flying energy blaster the most powerful but least flexible member of the team. Miss Green A vatar of the land and nature with with powers to control and manipulate both plants and the earth.
st barbara
Belgian supers hmm. The only one I have thought of is "Le Destrier" (that's French of course, but I think that they speak French in Belgium). Basically he is a man who has found and kept an alien batlesuit that gives him some of the powers of the "Predator" from the movie of the same name. GhostDancer
dutchlion.jpgbeschermerleeuw: the guardian lion for generations the guardian lions have been the agents and protectors of the dutch crown chosen and tested and trained by there predecessors they are the crown and the nations champion. previously serving in secret since the explosion of costumed around the world the guardian lions now serve visibly in a golden costume that pays homage to the royal crest. the current guardian lion is a former dutch special forces officer who was personally selected by his predecessor for his bravery in action as part of the operations in Afghanistan. he wears a golden armored costume and a mask including a golden mane of hair. He is armed with the guardians sword a mysterious sword belonging to the first guardian lion made of an unbreakable golden alloy. On his back is a quiver containing seven arrows each arrow has a different function ( the quiver conceals several dozen collapsed reloads for each so he has more ammo that would be obvious) his gauntlets hide a gravity manipulator that allows him to both hurl the arrows(or anything else) with remarkable force and accuracy. it also allows him to generate a personal force shield useful in close combat and for protecting the royal family from gun men etc. The sword is made of orichalcrum. GhostDancer
Emon St. James is Belgium's white knight. There has been an Emon St. James wearing armor of this general design since Templar times, prior to the founding of Belgium, prior to the United Kingdom of the Netherlands, prior to the First French Empire, all in this region. Belgium simply had other names in past centuries. This particular version is carbon-ceramic power armor, with an exoskeleton and munitions built in, including an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) that shatters electronics, and an ELF (extra-low frequency) projector, which sends invisible waves, not audible to the human ear, that easily penetrate skulls and cause brainwaves to fall in phase with it. As a result, those so effected have a higher tendency to do what Emon suggests.

csyphrett
Mongolia is home to the threat of the Deathworm. he has slowly created a network of operatives to help him move any type of contraband from one side of the country to the other. csyphrett
Apparently the Zud is a real thing which siphons warm air into the country so some farming can be done, but the area involved is not very big. I found it on the wiki and related. CES
GhostDancer
Zud is real, and always a disaster for Mongols. There are several types, which are all severe winters killing mass numbers of livestock. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zud Farming is rare and typically limited to winter root vegetables, natch- cabbage, potatoes, onions, garlic, sage, carrots, rhubarb, etc. My title, Axe Hero, is a translation of a famous name given to me by my Mongolian friend Amra. He says I look like the hero Sukhbaatar. Another friend, Dave V, said that Mongols had more success invading Russia than anyone else did "because it's warmer than Mongolia."
