GoldenAge
From a friend: Just a quick question, I noticed in the 6th ed of Grimoire all the weapons are Reduced Endurance (0 End). I was hoping to have an answer from someone as to why all of them would have this, is this rather common with muscle powered weapon builds? Does anyone here have an answer for him? Ndreare
The strength minimum of the weapon determines how much end you use. The weapon it self it always sharp.
Steve
Weapons are built with a STR minimum to wield, so the END cost is based on the STR you use. If they didn't have 0 END, you'd pay the END of the weapon too.

GhostDancer
Even in a super heroic game with one or more weapons built without STR Min, the muscle-powered-weapon wielder often exerts STR to increase total damage.
Christopher
Without 0 END the HKA, RKA, HTH-Attack or Blast the weapon is built with would cost End. This end would have to be paid by the user of the weapon (or the weapon would have to be designed to draw power from an Endurance Reseve). This doesn't makes sense with Muscle Powered weapons (and most guns have either charges or a built-in powersoruce). You still have to pay for the STR you add to the weapons damage, but you can only apply [your STR]-[sTR minimum] in extra damage from STR. You have to pay end for the STR minimum, in case you could not add damage from STR (guns, some really light weapons). There are also rules for using weapons when your STR is dropepd to 0. In heroic games STR often costs 1END/5 STR and there is usually a limit to how much damage you can add to a weapon without damaging it (written down under STR-Minimum and Real Weapon Rules; sometimes also campaign rule). You cannot push a power that is bought with 0 END (you could push your STR to add mroe damage, but this might exceed the doubling rule limits). If you build a Naked Autofire Advantage for Powers with HTH-Attack the 0 END advantage, the fact that they are only built with the 1/2 version of 0 END is usually ignored in heroic games (you still have to pay the STR-END for each attack)
