Posted May 7, 20205 yr comment_2764970 I looked at there site, and GenCon 2020 is still planning to go on. Is this actually so? (I was originally planning on going to GenCon this year to celebrate my 50th birthday, but plans and life said otherwise even before the Coronavirus. Prehaps I can celebrate my 50th year as a physical being on the planet next year, on my 51st birthday. )
May 7, 20205 yr comment_2764984 According to their site the Convention is still scheduled to go on, although they did announce on April 30 that the release of the Event Catalog and Event Registration have been delayed. Not cancelled entirely--just delayed. I can understand your concern. The San Diego Comic Con got cancelled--and if the biggest fan event in the nation can be called off, then anything is possible---including the best case or the worst case scenario. The GEN CON Administrators have said that if they decide to cancel the 2020 show, they'll be the first to let everyone know on the site, and through their social media. Until then---the CON is on.
