  1. Krill were trying to destroy Rana 3. The population of Rana 4 was destroyed in the Star Trek episode "The Survivors". Planets named 'Rana' seem unlucky to me.
  2. Chris Hogan will start today for the Browns. That's 28 different men to start a football game at QB for the Browns since their 1999 restart, and 33 QBs since 1993 (which includes the 3 year hiatus when they were inactive). By contrast the Green Bay Packers have had 5 men start at QB since 1993, and that number would be 2 if it wasn't for Aaron Rodger's broken collarbone in 2013.
  3. Yeesh, the creators of that movie sound quite awful.
  4. If you have a holodeck so perfectly done, why can't you have matter conversion technology? In Star Trek, they were actually able to eat and drink on the holodeck, presumably because of matter replication. Also if you don't have replication (and thus no matter conversion), then you are relying on a certain amount of supplies (like ST - Enterprise)...thus no long voyages...etc, etc.
  5. The animated Green Lantern: First Flight was pretty good.
  6. "Afterwards, both flag and anthem were asked to comment on how upset they were by the protest. Strangely enough, they both refused to answer."
  7. Zatanna - fishnets and unintelligible backwards-talk. For the average movie-goer, that could go really well...or really, really, really bad.
  8. Did it feel like 'suck'? I mean, has anyone actually played modern-day D&D?
  9. Yes, but Justice League: War was an almost exact translation of the JL comics reboot by Johns and Lee which came out in 2011. They essentially used the comic story as a storyboard - same lines and images from comic to animation but swapping out Aquaman for Captain Marvel.
  10. Stole my comment. Also, if you asked me to find a difference between the personality of Barry Allen, Hal Jordan or Arthur Curry from the comics I'd be hard-pressed to do so, frankly. Honestly, up until the early 70's i'd find it hard to distinguish between the personalities of ANY DC superhero...and I'd still have trouble with alot of them up to the early 2000's when I stopped reading comics.
  11. He seems to be channeling JL animated Flash, which is actually fine with me.
  12. Speaking of other new series, I found the first episode of the The Gifted on Fox Monday night to be pretty good. A post X-Men-mutants-on-the-run-from-government storyline. Quality FX and makeup included so far.
  13. How about moving them to LA where no one wants them and make them play in a soccer stadium full of fans from the opposing team?
  14. Browns best RB may be the fan who came onto the field
  15. Revenge on Jon Snow and Sansa Stark for having his own hounds eat him alive?
  16. Just saw Ep. 4 and IMMEDIATELY remembered a 3rd season TOS episode. So basically, Ep. 2 was an amalgam of several TOS stories such as Squire of Gothos and Gamesters of Triskelion, Ep. 3 was a TNG episode called "The Outcast", and Ep. 4 was an almost exact copy of the TOS story "For the world is hollow and I have touched the sky", the only difference was the McCoy plotline.
  17. Pat Tillman's wife issues statement
  18. You are correct, sir. Riker and Worf attempted to rescue her, but she was reprogrammed by her government back to 'androgynous' in the end and they were forced to leave.
  19. Having also seen Bautista in Riddick and Bushwick (which was nominated for some International awards), I think he's fine. He plays a perfect Drax, who is supposed to be a bit limited given the character's particular eccentricities. Comparing him to total stiffs like Hulk Hogan and Tiny Lister from the '80s is ridiculous IMO.
  20. Now I feel cheated...If I knew humans were strong enough to perform a Vulcan nerve pinch, I would've nerve-pinched the heck out of everyone I've known for the past 48 years.
  21. ...and the Bengals still have Adam Jones...the 4 time offender who paralyzes people and wants cops to die.
  22. I dunno...the Teen Titans during the '80s were awesome.
