  1. My version of Ace, from The Protectors, from the old To Serve and Protect supplement by Scott Heine.
  2. As Magmarock alluded to, the 'brick' pose is from HeroMachine 1. HeroMachine 2 is far superior with many more items to add, as well as superior color/shading. However, HeroMachine 1 has 4-5 more 'poses/forms'. I like to make my 'brick's with HeroMachine 1. Unfortunately, work on HeroMachine 2 is going VERY slowly. I think he made a mistake working on 'dwarf' poses. I (and I'm sure, many others) would prefer more 'normal' poses and a brick template, instead he produced a male dwarf template and is now supposedly working on a female dwarf. How much call is there for that I wonder?
  3. As I said earlier, I get mine with Print-Screen, however that doesn't seem to work for Magmarock either. *Note that I don't use ctrl+alt+print screen. With most newer computer that I'm familiar with, you should just have to press the Print-Screen button only. I've done it on 2 of my friend's machines, and they have completely different computers from mine.
  4. Re: Wow... I am truly humbled! Thanks. I just do a simple Print-Screen which pastes the HM image to your clipboard, then I paste it into a standard Paint program. I cut the image from the rest of the capture, then paste that back on the Paint. Then save them as Bitmap's (which look better), but you have to post them here as Jpegs. No scanning involved.
  5. Static. A speedster able to generate electrical charges at high speeds. More later, including some of my 'takes' on The Protectors, if interested.
  6. A somewhat crappy version of Seeker I did a LONG time ago. Goes somewhat with the version of Quantum I posted much earlier in the thread.
  7. Just another character I created.
  8. Finally, there's Tempest. A somewhat vampish weather-controller.
  9. Then we have Wraith. Wraith is the son of the hero Shadowboxer, and inherited similar powers.
  10. Now we have William Franklin Warwick IV aka 'The Warlock'. He gets his name from a blurb about mystic families in Champions Universe. The Warwick were a noble family of sorcerers who 'apparently died out a few centuries ago. William's story is that he has been trapped in the Qliphothic plane/dimension for hundreds of years and returns to present state with a bit of a dark side to him. Sort of a play on the Dr. Wraithe character from The Protectors. He is also the evolved form of a character I posted earlier called Arcane.
  11. Then there is Sunburst. He takes his name from Project: Sunburst, where he escapes from with the help of Dr. Silverback. He has bio-nuclear energy controlling powers ala Marvel's Quasar or DC's Green Lantern. I sorta give him my own personality...were I a superhero who has been in a coma for 8 years.
  12. Next is Artemis. I posted another version of her on the first page of this thread. This is a sleeker version. Besides her archery, she is a low-level mutant with hypersenses and superagility. Some of her senses border on precognition.
  13. Here are some superheroes I designed. I've been writing some stories about them solo, and they will eventually form a team in Millenium City (the actual Champions will be moved to another city). The first is Chrome. Your basic lovable metallic Brick with a slight addition/twist. His body is incredibly reflective, meaning he can bounce energy blasts back at his attackers.
  14. Re: Yippy -Thanks. Well, since I have nowhere near the actual artistic talent as you and many others here, I have to 'master' something if I want original superhero pics. -Yes, I'm using Version 2. It doesn't have quite as many poses available as Version 1, but it has FAR more options. Particularly, dual-coloring on the individual template pieces that enables you to do shading. So, I much prefer 2. Mr. Hebert recently started working on the site again, and provided a 'dwarf' pose. Hopefully, within the year we'll have a good 'brick' pose, as well as some brand new 'normal' male/female poses. -It's PhantomGM's team, so you'd have to ask him for the info. He came to me after he saw my pics of my characters at the very beginning of this thread and asked me to do his team.
  15. Here's my interpretation of Prince Archon of the Empyreans from Champions Universe:
  16. Here's the next one you wanted:
  17. Re: repost and a soapbox Soapbox or not, that was unnecessary and spiteful. Perhaps the harshness in this statement of yours was unintended, but you essentially placed judgement on a large group of people.
  18. Re: So I like the thread, sue me Whoa. Thanks for all the cool suggestions, Hermsey.
  19. AF Combat Comm., wounded in Gulf War, cross-trained into Intel. Served from 88-98, proud veteran.
  20. Actually, I never really took it specifically as experimentation on combat soldiers, just members of the military taken from all branches tricked into being used as guinea pigs. Being former military myself, I have met many in the services who don't necessarily want anything to do with combat. It's possible that one or a couple of these new heroes are very hesitant about combat. Something new to add to one of their personalities. PS- Here's Dash:
  21. Ugh. Too bad. Anyone who thinks that comics are only intended for children, obviously hasn't opened a comic book in the last 30 years.
  22. I've been designing a 'theme-based' superteam recently, and I've decided use the Project: Sunburst material from the gamebooks. You might be aware that was a secret government project involving military personnel used as guinea pigs with nuclear power. A couple villains have come from its origins. My idea is that the secret base where the personnel who are still living (all in comas) has recently been moved to Millenium City. However, the weird energies produced have now been detected by Dr. Silverback. In brief, he investigates and the secret is blown wide open. In the ensuing chaos, seven new superhumans awake (or possibly, Dr. Silverback is able to awaken them later). Eventually, they form a group with Dr. Silverback as their mentor. We now have seven basically good people, who are dealing with losing many years of their lives, betrayed by members of their government, and they also have superpowers. The members of SUNBURST are: Corona - female w/ plasma/heat energy powers Dash - female speedster Geo - male w/ Earth-powers, probable leader Icestar - male w/ Ice powers and bad attitude Powerhouse - male brick w/ narcissistic streak Psyche-Out - female mentalist Shade - male w/ shadowy energy powers I'm currently trying to develop distinct personalities and specific problems for each of them. They will all be superior physically in many ways (on top of their powers) such as quick healing, somewhat stronger and faster than normal, physically they will be unaffected by their long years spent in a coma. Remember that they are all former military (in some capacity or another). They will have family ties to rediscover, probably distinct weaknesses. These will be heroes trying to find their way in an almost new world. Anyway, I'm looking for some possible suggestions as to their background and things they will have to deal with early on. Geo will probably be the level-headed, natural leader-type, but he will have a confidence problem, etc. Well, any help would be appreciated. PS: I've designed each member with Heromachine 2 already and I'll probable post them all over the next few days depending on how many people respond. Here's Corona:
  23. Thanks, I like her as well. I've been designing a theme-based team recently, based on Project: Sunburst. I was thinking about getting some ideas about them as well. As a matter of fact, perhaps I'll just make my own topic.
  24. Here's the next. Personally, I don't think its my best work, but with all due respect I wasn't really a fan of the costume desc. or the color scheme you wanted. Lemme know if you want some changes.
