Re: Consequences ...
People will be more afraid of the Mystic now. You can have all her enemies train in mental defence techniques.

Re: Defenders of Macab City
The setting is excellent you get both back-story and reason to band together right from the start and the retired superhero will work very well as a mentor, however I remember that Wayne in Batman beyond was stubborn and somewhat of a control freak. This could frustrate the players if you do it "out of the blue" so I suggest that you let the Fox be a little more hands off. Or you could have him sticking their nose in their business all the time so that they get used to it. That is risky however.

Re: Defenders of Macab City
I suggest not making boomerangs a standard pice of the package but rather let it be used by one character only.

Re: Hudson City Reviewed on Gaming Report
quoted from the reviuw
To stop briefly on the 'sex' sections once more, the constant pounding on 'filth' and 'sin' got old really fast. Most everyone involved is the lowest most abused whore, or the worst of pimps and snuff peddlers. Speaking as an occasional reader of noir-ish fiction, and a regular reader of the writings of real life sex workers, its a lot more interesting if the authors show the other side of 'sex work'; with a decent number of people who like the work their doing (hooking, stripping, etc) for reasons ranging from enjoyment of the trade, to wanting a job with flexible hours and better pay than McDonalds.
end quote.
I did not bother to buy the new Hudson city since I got the old one but this revieuw showed me that this is the book for me! I am going to buy it right now.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
Again, Kim Du-Toit.Three dead goblins in return for three wounded citizens.
It's about time the humans started taking back their own country.
More power to them.
Well now you are being just unfair!
What inspired such a gross misrepresentation of a group huh?
Using such characterizations is uncalled for and very unfair.
What did the goblins ever do to you?

Re: A Thread for Random Musings
I hear that the ancient samurai of Japan rather died than surrendered. But what if they were wounded and just could not fight on? I mean if someone hits you over the head with a tetsubo or a riflebutt or something that is pretty much it, then you’re out. What did they do with all the wounded samurais? Slit their throat while they were unconscious? For the most part of their long history samurai where horsemen, I mean there are a lot of ways a man can be knocked unconscious on a battle field filled with horses.

This stuff is classic! Great work on the villan Jeb. I hate him and I was not even in the game.

Re: Is monster hunting horror?
If the focus is on fighting and action then it is defined as being in the action genre with some horror elements.
Basically I think that if you can kick the demons ass in hand to hand it is not horror.
It might be a scary and hard won fight but it is not horror.

Re: Foriegn Captain America's
Immigration and demographics are replacing old national images with new, usually Muslim, ones. I think it's probably best to get in early with this. Old cultures are nothing to the new, and will be eliminated, so the heroes of tomorrow should have appropriate outlooks. There are new colours, not the old national colours but lots of Islamic green, and red, and white. You also want to get rid of those pale-skinned old-European types, blondes and red-heads and characters with orange or overly pale brown hair, as well as eliminating all eye colours other than brown. Old Europe is dying or dead, taking its culture and variety of colours and human types with it.
You Americans seems to have managed to live with muslims in your country.

Re: Musings on Random Musings
That is what I have been saying all along...
Hale Berry is a top-notch actor; she just needs to be pickier in which roles she will act.
