    Hell of a way to wake up.

    Police drive up and down in the street telling everybody to stay indoors.

    Looking out I can see big cloud of smoke and it smells like burning plastic.

    Closing all windows and doors and translating to the polish people who live in the appartment complex to do the same.

    Just sitting here and sniffing the air. Bleh.

    Yes off course, a five dimensional being would be able to come and go with impunity and squash us three dimensionings.

    Also it is not strange that the creatures are so ugly think of how we would have looked for two dimensionalings if we took a swim in their dimension.

    Off course the fact that Lovercraft hated seafood might also have something to do with it.

    My thoughts on the san loss mechanic from CoC:

    Why have san drain at all, in the books the investigators became insane when they learned that the world they took for granted was not true and the gods was alien and uncaring.

    I can see taking san drain for trips to other dimensions or having to shift body with an alien or something but just seeing the creatures? No.

    I think that the official chuthullu game overuse the madness effect.

    So I would try to not use san drain rules at all and rather play off the chars psych dis instead.

     

    And then

     

    I have given it some thought and what I have come up with is that pc's should have a psych lim: Believes in the rational world and its law's. Then they must take ego roll whenever they face up to something "Lovercraftian"

    And yes I do know the rules say that in the hero system a disadvantage that is not an disadvantage is worth no points. And believing in the rational world is not an disadvantage. But that is where you are wrong...

    In an Lovercraftian campaign believing in the rational world, is an disadvantage!

    Mummies who's bandages are made of clear plastic not cloth.

    Cyborg were bats.

    A silver golem with a disco ball for its head. It can blind people

    Clean orks in gestapo like dress uniforms suported by well groomed orks in black armani suits. They are well armed with laser weapons and mechs.

    Uhmm.. Some creature that looks like a cross between the terminator (without flesh) and a gigant twoheaded lion who breathes fire. Ok no more ideas..

    Remember that the posts on the herogames board were only the tip of the iceberg, bittic had cultivated friendships with people and he got them to tell him personal things because they trusted the characters he created. Him posting fake pictures of "kara" and "rachel" here while babbling a little did no psychological damage. But who knows what people have talked with him about off the board? bittic is an manipulator, he has been doing this for six years because he likes it.

    As for the boards here, kararachel turned this place into a low brow popularity contest and drove off many with their sickening “cutenessâ€. As it were his presence might have seen benevolent but in fact kararachel was an eroding presence, seriously “dumbing down†every thread they posted in and personally whipping the drool-squad into overdrive. Just because that he made you feel good about it does not mean that it is actually good.

    If you want the board to be friendly you are better off with the approach you or Hermit or Keithkurtis or Nexus or Jeff T uses: Posting real answers and generally being nice.

    What is good for the board is people with and genuine interest in what is going on and in other people and their points of view, not political correct hyped up gimmicks and “cutenessâ€

    You just keep on posting as you do and you will have much more effect than the fake lesbians ever did, it just takes longer time but it will not be as easy to krash down either.

    I think "they" worked against some of the cliquishness.

    He did this for propaganda purposes, he wanted to paint up gay couples as solid happy and dependable, fully capable of raising children. He is not very smart... He is sly but not smart.

    Remember that he stopped talking to me for a time when I called him on it.

    Well why not, I was thinking that he just pushed his str or had some kind of mad man's strength power but just putting up 18 in str is simple and elegant. He is not a player character after all.
