By the way, and just as an aside, did you know that if you regularly play Sims2, you do strange things with your sims? I mean strange like green skin with blue scales, and bald, and naming them Will Zornish...
 
Of course, the alien babies are kinda cute too... Will Zornish has a wee girl child with alien eyes and no hair yet. She'll grow up soon.

Nothing to say. It all sounds like either bragging or whining. The reality is that it is merely there. It just exists. It can't be good or bad, wrong or right, until an outside entity puts a value to it.
 
I am applying no value to any of it until I get a grip on it. I suppose you could say I am waffling.

Not the person you want to hear from, I'm sure, and this isn't meant to be trite or condescending, but why not just let it go? Do what you're good at (gaming, recipes, what-have-you) and just let it go.
 
I honestly don't think people are taking sides between you and Doug (or anyone else, for that matter), at least not in generalities (specific debates are another matter). For me, at least, it's gotten to the point where I just roll my eyes when I see Doug take a hack at you and scroll right past it. Doug is just being an asshat when he posts his crap about you; you come across as being an arrogant asshat. His posts don't seem to rile anyone but you (which is not a condonation of said posts); your posts, on the other hand, tend to push everyone's buttons. Your posts reek of arrogance and of a claim to maturity that you're simply not demonstrating. Intelligence and knowledge, definitely, but neither courtesy nor humility nor maturity ranks very highly on your list of "strong personality traits".
 
Seriously, you can't be better than he is if you persist in fanning the flames, and I'm pretty sure you can be better. Go and cook something, eat something, have a cup of Earl Grey, make a character, watch a movie or do whatever it is you need to do to relax and just let it go.

I have nothing against you. And I know for a fact that I'm not reading every thread that you post to, so I have no way of knowing what you have been going through.
 
With that in mind, it does seem that you quite frequently blow up at someone because of some innoculous comment they've made. And I use the word SEEM because you might just be justified in your anger, and it might be in response to things in other threads that I'm not privy to. But if there are times when your anger isn't justified...
 
At times I worry about what carrying all that anger will do to you in the long run. At times I get sick of seeing you angry again. And sometimes I want to lash out at you because of it.
 
Today, I'm not going to lash out.
 
Today, I'm remembering a small boy who was taunted by the other kids because they thought it was funny to see him get angry and to see the teacher punish him for defending himself against their attacks. And I remember how, when he stopped reacting to their taunts, they lost interest and left him alone.
 
I've found it easier to live without the anger.

Kingman is about 3 to 3 and a half hours norhtwest of Phoenix. That time range is dependant on how much construction activity there is on US 93, any Obliviots, Inconsidiots, Left Lane Vigilantes, and/or Granma/Granpa Piddy Poos there are on the road, and how bad the traffic is on US 60 once it turns into Grand Avenue. I could take I-40 to Flagstaff and then drop down on I-17, but that adds about another 90 minutes to the drive time.

Ya know... most people complaining about rep here have very little to complain about. The majority of my rep comes from Lemming. He's repped me 5 times in total. And the last one was back in June. And some others there post very well and don't complain about their lack of rep and they've got less than I do.
