My hard copy arrived yesterday, just in time for some needed reading on Mother's Day. My Mom bought me my first Champions set back in 1982, so sorta fitting. Anyway, I certainly like it after a read or two through ... still need to sit down and create some characters, etc. ("the usual").

The organization's a little odd, and like others I'd like an index. That said, I like the discussion (or lecture) as the book unfolds, and the integrations to comic history and publishing is something I'm enjoying.

Probably the most likely version of Champions for me to run for the foreseeable future. I think this, and the earlier Strike Force, have been my favorite Hero projects in recent memory.

Late to the party but... absolutely.
Just (today) uploaded a Ambrethel world map in colour that might interest folk.

I'm running some Clement Sector these days - their Long Road to Redemption series. Big fan of the setting, but hadn't considered running via Hero. Hmmm.  Their ships are nifty, but yes, all square grid deck plans (Traveller standard). Clement Sector is a "small ship" setting, with 2 parsec jumps being the max.

So I have recently completed a move, to a place largr enough to not need storage. So I have bern unpacking many boxes of books. Along with finding all of my old gaming books, I found my character binder.  Inside was the original Hero flyer announcing Champions, and also the character handed to me by either Bruce or Ray, for a game GMed by Steve Peterson an that convention back in 1981. I present it to you in the interests of the historical record.

There are many ways to incorporate radio stations into your superhero game. Characters can receive foreshadowing or news reports after the fact, they can be questioned by reporters after an incident, or interviewed in-studio. Now, for the first time, we share the unique logos for the radio stations in San Angelo: City of Heroes!
    Enjoy!

One of the things we're going to be doing is creating a lot more eye candy to help create an immersive experience, as well as to create a sort of guide for artists. Here's one example: the branding for the various television stations in the Golden City. Please share your feedback below.

This May help: Most (not all) of the actual mechanics are in chapters 6, 10, 11, and 15. Some important rules that are elsewhere concern the ratio (of point total without limitations to point total counting limitations).

I prefer designers notes to tacking on a lackluster setting.

For whatever reason, this game got me excited enough to write up a page of house rules for it. That doesn't happen much anymore.
