  1. Re: The cranky thread That truly sucks dude. I hope things turn around for you. Soonest.
  2. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I haven't figured out a way to do it. I think you can download HeroMachine, but I don't like that program as much as I do the two DC animated style.
  3. Re: The cranky thread Caring for an elderly parent can be such a pain. Sometimes, it's like dealing with a 6 year old.
  4. Re: Need Superhero Name Quantum Shift?
  5. Re: Musings on Random Musings Nah. Too hard to housebreak.
  6. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine I like the DC Animated style. And I hadn't given any thought to a portrait yet. I still have to come up with a character sheet and a background first. And a costume idea.
  7. Re: The Non Sequitor Thread I'll take a sequitur for 500, Alex.
  8. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Thanks! That will help a lot.
  9. Re: Musings on Random Musings In my eighth grade Speech class, we had to give an instructional speech. I did mine on how to tie a necktie. Had to have my father teach me how first.
  10. Re: Musings on Random Musings Mmmmmmm. Oreos.
  11. Re: Musings on Random Musings I have to wear a tie maybe twice a year. While I know how to tie one, I generally wear a zipper tie. Rarely, I'll wear one of my super hero ties. If I ever find a Spirit tie... lol
  12. Re: Classic Comic Book Characters I believe Pym built a suit that dealt with that, but I don't remember if it cured her or just stopped her powers from continuing to kill her.
  13. Re: Extra SPD only to Dodge Wouldn't a triggered teleport work just as well for a dive for cover, adding in the limiter that you have to cross through the intervening space? I'm still in 5th Edition, myself, and just now getting back into it after a couple of year break from Hero. Was in several WoD and D&D campaigns that kept me busy.
  14. Re: Classic Comic Book Characters Great write-ups and resource!

    Empire city

Re: Empire city I'm in a similar situation with a game I'm running. I'm building on one of the character's origin, which includes a mystery hunted, to involve the whole team in their first really big adventure. I don't want to rush it, so I've come up with a plan that will lead into their next major problem. What I've decided to do is introduce various figures from Greek mythology, leading up to the return of the Greek gods and a bid for them to "fix" the problems they see upon their return. Don't know if that helps or not. On a side note, the image verification I got for this post was rather disturbing: "carved friends". Wonder if the forums are telling me to see the new Nightmare on Elm Street?
