  7. Looking for Champions universe team logos. Can anyone make them?

    I was working on improving the output I get from Heromaker software (yes, I still use it and love it!), by adding team logos to the printouts. I recently was successful in altering the top of the PDF output file to add the team name over the top of the page and a picture of the hero at the bottom, like this:

    Problem is I need logos for other Champions universe team logos, preferable in black and white to fit well in the printouts. I'm not good at art or anything. Can anyone make simple black and white logos for groups like PSI, VIPER, UNTIL, IMAGE or any of the numerout other hero and villain groups in the Champions universe that I can insert on my character sheets? PNG, JPG, GIG, BMP or any common format is fine, I can edit it.

    Funny, I picked up a used Strike Force on amazon.com for $3.50 last fall. It was a REALLY nice book. The Champions book I can't seem to find for a low price in the old original Golden Age Champions.

    I worked with both the writeups from the Different Worlds magazine and the V&V DNAgents suppliment, which contained Champions conversion notes, combining them to make fuller character sheets. Here is what I came up with for the first four members:

    The Strike Force book contains a number of "Villain Option" notes on the heroes. A short list of changed to make each supporting hero into a villain.

     

    Also, you could include Backworld heroes from Champions in 3D.

    403 - Classic Enemies

    p8, Slick should have a Villain Bonus of 147, not 137.

    p78, Menton shouldn't be able to put his Danger Sense into an EC and it should cost 60 points, not 55. His Flash should cost 14 points, not 15. His Teleportation should cost 75 points, not 55. His Disguise skill should cost 13 points, not 3 (or alternately for 3 points it should only be an 11- skill.)

    I re-wrote the character of Skyrocket from Strike Force, because the way it was written he had many powers that had a strange Limitation that they only worked at half power in sterile environments. Since this doesn't seem like a legitimate Limitation, I split all those powers in half, and one half the power is normal, and the other half has "doesn't work in a sterile environment". I also did some cleanup adding an everyman skill, reevaluating his skill point cost (some were wrong), and generally updated him to 4th edition. I cleaned and updated Fire Hawk as well.

    Digital Hero wasn't created until after DOJ bought Hero in 2001 or 2002 (Don't remember the exact date).

     

    Prior to that, the official Hero Games magazine was Adventurer's Club, which is also not available in PDF.

     

    BTW can you imagine making Wings of the Valkyrie available? You'll probably see Steve write a 500+ page C.LO.W.N. sourcebook before you'll ever see that adventure as a PDF.

     

    I have seen scans Wings online in archives because it is so rare. It's actually a good suppliment too. It's a shame people don't understand the plot. I actually bought it in a lot of ebay last year very cheap.
