Primus In my neck of the woods, A a few Pcs have become Silver avengers, and One in particular has a rivalry with disad The Golden avenger,he follows orders well, but thinks he can do better. placing supers in these orginizations does help I have a Viper force 3 set up a 5 man super strike team for UNTIL The Card Sharks even have a second strind bassed of the Tarot..... But thats just me.

War In my campaign, real world stuffhappens, but the heroes stay at home, and fight to protect the US and earth from adversaries That way nothing has the chance of being downplayed ,or becoming offensive. 9-11 happened in game, but the pcs were not allowed to intervene, due to the fact they might have had a chance to stop the attrocity. It is not good ground to tread on.

time I think its called Marvel Standard time. Most Pcs quit,die or retire within a few years,so its mostly not an issue for my group. the few that have stuck around real long8 years + have one way or another justified a point of lack of ageing . Ive had to retro fit once in my time running Champions IRL a person was furious with the group,and the pc was written off(zero-houred so to speak) well, they came back to the game some time later, so i had them die a Marvel Death

team Breakdown Weve only had one team for the last 12 years,weve gone through phases: started as a Jla type team shifted to a bunch of vigilantes and them shifted back

Problem Child I know how you feel, Although I do run a high end-ed game, I still have players wanting more power.(think mid-range JLA) The best way short of dusting them is run a few detective scenarios...10 d6 Rka aint worth a hill of beans when your trying to find out Whoses fault all the ritual killings are...and it will get them to spend points else where......Hmmm, May be since we are doing this, I should see if i can buy lockpicking based off str as a skill.....or deduction....

Opinion I think Its a great idea to diverge from the "sterotypical"disads for a particular character type (as you did) It keeps people from figuring your characters out to fast. What other sort of disads are going to be placed on him???
