  1. Re: Villain Group! Dunno if this would work, but you could start with a Power-Ranger-Giant-Robot (P-R-G-R) character with MULTIFORM; the other form would be a Robocop-Cyborg-Transformer (R-C-T) character with DUPLICATION. Each R-C-T would have MPs to represent their various Transform shapes. I have no idea if this is legal, or if it even makes any sense.
  2. Re: Conan vs. Elric I don't think Conan really stands much of a chance against Elric/Stormbringer after the first series of blows. Elric might be a weak albino, but he's a good swordsman, and Stormbringer is nothing to shake a stick at (put the stick down, Conan). Conan either decapitates Elric right out, or he loses. I doubt these two would go back to back, take 10 paces, and start a duel. Even without any sorcery Elric/Stormbringer will eventually beat Conan. TANSTAAFF!

  4. Re: Help/Suggestions with 2 new Hero Groups That's where that name came from! Many thanks! I played V&V ages ago, and forgot all about it. I think several of the Guardians are V&V memories revisited. Wow, that was one of those moments where things just "snapped" into place. Thanks, Proditor!
  5. I'm designing two new groups for my campaign (now if I could just get a group together)... I'm looking for suggestions/opinions here. I initially came up with each member (and their abilites) from existing Miniatures that I have... Liberty League just looks way cool with everyone wearing Stars & Stripes! Guardians: America's premier (NPC) superhero team. With a Branch in L.A. and another in N.Y., a lot of territory can be covered. They can climb into their 'Jump-Jets' and join up to take on the really big jobs. West Coast Guardians (based in L.A.): 1 ) Manta Man - Leader/Scientist with "Manta Ray" environmental suit with electical dischargers, force field, rebreather, impellors for both swimming and gliding. 2) Titan - Mid-range strongman that can grow to ~25' tall (gains 70 STR). Very good defenses. 3) Evergreen - Female nature spirit, entangling, sharp needles, and sleep spores. 4) Polymer - Mid range strongman with stretching abilities. 5) Jack Frost - Ice/Snow abilites. East Coast Guardians (Based in N.Y.): 1) Captain Courage - Leader/gadgeteer with non-violent weapons (stun pistols, gas/stun grenades,...). 2) Bastion - Immovable Brick. 3) Mirage - Female with Light/Illusion abilites. 4) Lazer - Heat/Fire abilities. 5) Force - Martial Artist/Telekinetic that can fight at a distance. Liberty League (Based in D.C.): Fighting for American Values! 1) National Anthem - Martial Artist Patriot 2) Might Man - Mini-Superman Patriot 3) Patriot - Gadgeteer Patriot 3a) Silver Star - Martial Artist Patriot (Sidekick for Patriot) 4) Vanguard - Female Psychic Patriot 5) Sentinal - Gravity/Magnetic Powered Patriot Comments, suggestions?
  6. Re: amateur champs minis Not sure if these fit in here, but I have a bunch of old Champions Minis, the photos are out of focus, and I've glued them all on bases since these were taken... http://photos.yahoo.com/huskerfan98765
  7. How about normal-level, tunnel-making female with clinging for the Goldstrike Gang? Then you could have your average Golddigger hanging around. Bah-dum-bumm.
  8. Any chance to change Megascale? 1" = 1 KM @ +1/4 is a giant jump. I've seen the following in many house rules... 1" = 10" @ +1/4 1" = 100" @ +1/2 1" = 1000" (2 KM) @ +3/4 [etc....] This is a squishy-grey area between NC-movement and mega-movement, but I like the consistancy here. If this has been covered before, my apologies up front!
  9. You can base a KS on INT, but that is still a Knowledge Skill; the Power Skill is specifically for things like VPPs. This is the "I can do anything, any time" Green Lantern/Quasar hero. His Novice Hero and Code of the Hero Disads kind of balance him out, but... I don't know about anybody else, but I see ALMOST BROKEN written all over this Character. Apply a -1 Limitation from a few minor limitations (Gestures & Incantations come to mind), and you can have 70 AP of FF, a 14d EB that can have the precise SFX for the other guy's vulnerability). I've had players make this sort of character, and it always throws the campaign on it's side. They outshine everyone, get all the limelight, make it extra hard to develop plots; then the player can't understand why nobody else wants to play the campaign any more. That being said, Green Lantern, Quasar, Silver Surfer, Captain Mar-Vell, and the other Cosmic Wielders are among my all-time favorites! That's a great character concept, just dang nigh impossible to curb the player in - the whole Pandora's Box thing...
