  2. Re: A very Scary Teen Villian So many interesting ideas being thrown around here it seems. So lets make it more interesting. How would you build Scott for your campaign and limits. So far I have three ideas that all go around the general theme of artist that brings his art work to life. controls either through Mind Control,Enhanced Presence only against his constructs or Amicable enhancement added to the summon instead of Difficult to Dispel. So go wild, have fun. Also anyone that wants to use this character in their campaign feel free.
  3. Re: A very Scary Teen Villian Of Course I could drop the Difficult to dispel to afford it at 40pt active cost...hmmm

  7. Re: A very Scary Teen Villian APPEARANCE Hair Color: Green Eye Color: Violet Height: 1.77 m Weight: 79.00 kg Description:His appearance is rather anime like. He has natural forest green hair and his eyes have long since changed to a brilliant Violet. His skin has darkened to a tan but he still looks fairly average in the 'good looks' department. He dresses by his mood which ranges from goth when depressed to preppy when he's cheerful BACKGROUND Scott was born into a well to do family. He attended good schools got fairly good grades when he bothered to show up But never put much effort expect in his art classes. His parents where not very thrilled by this. His father was an engineer and his mother was a regular suzie home maker. Scott did however learn to enjoy his powers once he found out he had them. He had learned of them after his attempt to impress a goth girl in his chemistry class with a demon drawing that she had paid him to draw (paid him cheaply of course). He was attacked by her boyfriend that had misunderstood his intentions (not really) and to top it off the goth girl had laughed at him, But they stopped laughing when the demon that he had drawn ripped it self free and became a full sized terror that killed and left him with a blank sheet of paper. Scott had run away and left them all to their fate, He didn't regreat his choice and the police never proved he had done anything. However Days later his demon came to him to finish what it had started by killing him. In his fear he had yelled out no as anyone would do..to his surprise the demon did stop..and tried to attack again with the same effect. To make a long story short after finding himself getting tired he knew he could control the demon and quickly commanded before he collapsed for the demon to return to it's paper.Several days later after explaining as much as he could to his parents for the mess he began experimenting with his power. He could bring forth anything he drew..with a great cost in endurance. PERSONALITY Scott is pretty cocky for a kid that can summon almost anything from anything HE has drawn. He hates bullies and Toughs and has little worry that people would actually miss those types of a people. However he's weak willed against attractive girls and easily scared off by anything that gets by his creations. QUOTE "You sure you to want me angry?" POWERS/TACTICS Summon Something to kill his foes and if foes are more powerful teleport himself into his artistic world where it's safe. CAMPAIGN_USE A very scary type of villian that could bring the heroes worst nightmares to life.

  9. Re: TV Teen Titans Writeups slades an interesting character and very likely has.... The Greater Experience VPP: 20pt's [20 + 20 control, total: 40 Active points] [0 phase +1,No Skill Roll +1, Only Skills -1/2] And because he's like the batman only with armor instead of a utility belt... Utility Armor (Multipower 30pt's, OIF -1/2) 20pt's with about 15 to 20 points in slots. Utility Armor (Damage Resistance 10 DEF, OIF) 6pt's Utility Armor (Armor 6 DEF, OIF) 12pt's Utility Armor (Power Defense 4pt's, OIF) 2pt's Rounded Down the total cost is 100 points that leaves him alot in major villian level points... slap those abilities on any martial artist/Inventor and your in for a world of hurt

  12. Re: WWYCD #125: The Turn-Coat Now on the opposite side of the coin.. Eric of the mutants I play online would be willing to change sides and give up more dangerous and vile allies (IE/ those that actually consider killing fun) For the most part his skills are a reflection of Robin from the teen titans. He'd have no trouble convincing the girls of the team that he was willing to turn over a new leaf due to his lust inflicting powers. The guys however would be watching him like a hawk because of that and at the end of all that Eric would likely turn out like a twisted version of batman. As for problems that would hunt him down..his abusive father wouldn't stand much a chance against super-heroes of any sort physically but could give them alot more problems if they worked in his burg where he happens to a police detective. (Secret Identities could be in trouble there) As for Erics friends and any crimes that he might of been commited...Child Support for a Teenager would be a very humbling experience, another reason for him to switch sides. Responsibility would certainly be something the heroes would have to teach him.
  13. Re: WWYCD #125: The Turn-Coat You know I'm not really sure what my Teen villian would do.. however my Golden Age Psymon villian is a bit different. Captain hero "No really I want to be evil! I want to destroy things." Psymon "You have got to be kidding, you can't even step on ants.." CH: "I can to!"[steps on floor] "SEE!" Psymon: "I have no ants in my castle CH.." CH: "Um..right, let me behead a few of those people you have locked up!" PSymon: "Fine.. but first let me strap you to this medical examination table." Captain hero soon becomes mutated beyond recognition and gains brain problems. On second thought... He might not be the best choice to try and convince that your evil..

  15. Re: Help me build my Gameday event! You mean like the plain jane character from 4th edition dark champions? Thats not a bad idea.. I might have to use it too.
  16. Re: Help me build my Gameday event! This range should work with what your going for. Mooks (red shirts) half PC points Rivals : Same PC points Heavy Hitters: 50% more than the PC's Main Villian: x2 PC's point total. if characters are build on 150... Mooks: 75 rivals: 150 Hvy Hitters: 225 Villians: 300 This is not counting Disadvantage points but it is a good system for keeping the game a level playing field that keeps the heroes from winning to quickly.
  17. Re: GOLDEN AGE GOLDDIGGER? Gina Diggers, Daughter of the Mysterious Mr. Diggers a reclusive Millionaire. The only Archeologists laughed at for her 'findings' of ancient alien technology underneath a few ancient Greek ruins. One such item that still seems to work is her amazing 'Girdle of Protection' supposidly worn by aphrodite. (granted she had to tincker with it to get to work) She and her sister continue to search for great teasures, cute guys, The Supernatural, Rich Guys, and to find the answers to the universe everyone needs to know...guys in general.

  20. Re: GOLDEN AGE GOLDDIGGER? Felt like reviving this thread due to recent GAC threads.
  21. Re: Golden Age Villains needed In the golden age game I ran we had a german agent that was active before the war. Psymon, Nasty and powerful psionic with all the skills of the early doctor doom. If you want a reason for some minor flunkies having futuristic technology he would be the choice villian. Take a gadgeteer archtype and just add a Psionic VPP of 30pt's or more. Psionic VPP : 30pt's [0 phase action to change +1,Only Psionic Effects possible -1/2,Costs Endurance -1/2] {Active Cost: 30 + 15 control cost} Course I was running a 100pt + 100pt game so if the group is higher than this his psionic power needs to be higher too. He should be able to match the strongest characters attack power. 30 points was the maxium in my GAC game. AS for the psymon armor 6Def Armor,Endurance Reserve 30END 5Rec,Multipower with Force Field,Energy Blast and Flight ((all of which could adjust to different levels)) He was an excellent villian and the group enjoyed the challenge of defeating his 'master plans' His one weakness was his all too human and naive daughter who he wished to protect from the corrupting world.

Once he started to be popular though he's father beatings came more often because girls and teachers would show up to generally harass him about his sons life. Soon he was pulled out of school altogether (after his english teacher had broken into the house buck naked to whisk him away) and made then worse still he was made to work in the 'family' garage fixing cars and generally being a grease monkey. It's kinda hard to tell how he met metranon. It could have been fate or she might of heard rumors about him, or hell maybe she sensed some other great power in him (if you believe in that kinda crap)but she seemed to have taken a shine to him, but not the way that normally seemed to happen. She offered him a school where his father wouldn't have any influence and better yet where his father wouldn't be around for that matter. He didn't bother with just signing the papers that day, he jumped in the car and just left with his father searching all over for his lil meal ticket. Powers/tactics:Eric is a low powered emotion manipulator, his powers being in the early stages of emotion control and alteration have created an aura that he can't quite shut off and long term physical contact will alter a persons emotions. Because his powers are still in the process of growing out into something usable Telepathic contact causes him some serious pain. So first ruel of thumb for Eric is to disable ANY psionic opposition with a grenade while keeping any bricks away from him. Personality- while an interestingly honorable villian Eric constantly berates himself for not having any useful power, his Seductive aura hasn't done much except get him in trouble in the past. Eric lives by a simple code of honor: an eye for eye and always repay ones debts. Right now he owes Metranon a major debt in his mind for getting him away from his father. He intends to learn to deal and use his powers, and later if she needs his help again all she'll likely have to do is ask. Qoute-"Can we get this other with already? I have a homework to do."Unspent Character Points/Experience: 49
  24. Re: TV Teen Titans Writeups Personally I can hardly wait to see the write ups for Robin and cyborg, But everything seems pretty right to me for the construction of the others. Except beastboy where the VPP needs to have "All forms are color green -1/4"
