  1. I decided not to and went with DF Complication. Was gonna work up a power for it but didn't feel right to me. He takes great lengths to never be seen without his mask. So having it as a power felt wrong. I'm still debating on adding it and updating the PDF.
  2. I went with his origin from 4th. Which was a Merc wounded in battle and taken to the wrong doctor. Thats the short version. Did stick with him hating his human side and wanting to become a pure machine. Good thug for Mechanon
  3. Another thing I should mention is that in their background I'm treating them all as Mercenaries. They won't be linked to a specific group unless it's in their original origin. This may be changed as well depending.
  4. Some are, some aren't. I'm not wanting to reinvent the wheel or anything. However, the system has evolved and understanding it has as well. There are abilities that weren't considered in the early editions that are used now. Some powers are new too, so I'm trying to stay honest to the original characters but including new concepts as well
  5. Yes, have permission from Hero Games for using the characters. They of course still own them, just allowed me to use them in the product
  6. My goal for this series is to bring characters from the early edition of Champions that haven't been updated to 5th or 6th. I missed HalfJack being in 5th edition of Viper but don't have any plans to duplicate characters already presented in Hero Games products. I will be converting some, upgrading others and adjusting origins as well. I'm open for suggestions on villains to be updated if you care to make suggestions.
  7. Sledge is part of TF-1 in the SIDS Report line along with Piledriver but with new powers. Next up is Geodesics. I have a few others slotted for future issuse. Rainbow Archer and Wyvern are as well. Planning on Dr. Lirby Koo as well, though I'm leaning to his own PDF and most likely a free download one to boot.
  8. Haven't been able to find an answer, sorry if its been asked. If a mage casts a spell that causes one level of growth on a person or creature, would they become double human size or double their size. Is the growth based on the normal size of the creature it is cast on. So would say a Dwarf become human size or a double human size dwarf? Would a rat become dog size or double human size and so on.
  9. Don't know if it's been mentioned but you could make it a multi-form. Basic form is the sword and the multi-form would be an automation
  10. The sword itself could be a Automation with summoning and gestures or incantations attached. The summoning part could be when you use the sword. Gesture would be drawing and releasing the sword., Incantation for the command word the sword would have to start "dancing"
  11. power changes are not bad, of course some would be based on the campaign and the power limit the GM is using
  12. Future project line is Villainy Codex Adventures, small runs with groups or characters from the series. Improvements could be an option as well. Thinking of something similar for the SIDs product line as well

  17. Just want to say thanks to everyone. Finished it up last night and it's ready for release. It the same size as the first Villainy Codex at 99 pages. Thanks again.
  18. yes, but you have to remember there actually is no official meaning to CLOWN. in the original write it is states that some say it means... Merry Andrew and crowd have never committed. There will be similar ideas for IMP given as well, just meant was does a name in all caps HAVE to mean something. Could be they thought that caps would draw more attention is all
  19. I apologize now if this is in a book or previous question but I couldn't find it. I have a character that has multiple bases or at least has a base for a planned purpose, use it then abandons it to not allow herself to be caught. Then when need a new base is created used, dropped and so on.. How do I represent this in the game? Is it necessary to pay for a base as it is derived and used? Can the points spent by the character be for A base, even if it is rebuild elsewhere?
