  1. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER What'd you call me??? ^ v ~
  2. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I'm sure you wouldn't be THAT bad a writer. You at least know how to make a REAL character who interacts in a logical and consistent way with his environment. That's a good start. ^ v ^
  3. Re: The Last Word Okay, NOW it's a battle for The Last Word! ^ v ^
  4. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Store? I didn't realize it was possible to net surf at a convenience store. Okay. No worries, then.
  5. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Is THAT why your character started to say something, then you left?
  6. Re: What's the most outrageous plot your PCs have ever been subjected to During one recent gaming session, we were getting the feeling our base was haunted. Stuff was moved around, we heard strange noises, and the AC kept getting cranked. Turned out it was Foxbat, and I believe the reason he was visiting us was that he'd built the base himself, then sold it off to our patron who'd given it to us. But that's not the best part. During this same game, we were investigating the disappearance of lots of valuables, and decided a jewelry store was next. So while we were staking out several stores in the area, 2 of the PC's saw some squirrels acting strangely, then noticed that the jewelry store was swarmed with squirrels. Yep. Super Squirrel had struck. He had mind control over the squirrels, who were small enough that they didn't set off alarms, and they could stuff valuables into their cheeks. He'd also invented an exploding acorn, which actually packed enough punch to get through most of the party's defenses. Unfortunately, someone got footage of the ensuing Battle Against the Squirrels, and we had a bit of a PR mess after that. Fortunately, Foxbat was so impressed by the exploding acorns, he wandered off to go scour every oak tree in Millenium City. So you see, even when Josh is being weird, his games are still amusing.
  7. Re: A Thread for Random Musings I borrowed Josh's car to get to work today, and this song played during my trip to work. (popup and language warnings on that link, just so ya know.) I could've skipped the track, I suppose, but I prefer having a surreal start to my day.
  8. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I'm sorry. I didn't mean to spoil you with my overabundance of character interaction. But for me, that's the fun part of roleplaying. ^ v ^
  9. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER That's okay. I was already up past my bedtime by then. Encouragement would've only made me stay up even later. ^ v ^
  10. Re: The Last Word Okay, so send THEM all the food I don't want to eat.
  11. Re: What's the most ridiculous PC you've ever been subjected to?
  12. Re: A Thread for Random Musings Just now, my boss set up a computer (just the tower) outside my office, plugged it in, and turned on the power. A moment later, I smelled something that resembed BO gone awry. A second after THAT, I realized I was smelling something burning, and alerted my boss. He has no idea what was burning, but it didn't actually catch fire. He suspects the power source burned out, though, since the computer will no longer turn on. And it STILL smells like burned computer innards in here. Bleah.
  13. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Sure. Why not? Though it looks like you have 3 hours, now. Speaking of nonsequiturs, I think it's going to rain soon. I was just broadsided by this extraordinary tiredness, and can't motivate myself to get to work. I wish I had a door to my office. The new computer is a nice start towards contentment, though. I once wrote a livejournal entry that got all sorts of responses where they just boggled at my randomness. Out of coffee. Damn.
  14. Re: A Thread for Random Musings I tied a tie for the second time in my life last night. It actually didn't look that bad. But I definitely think ties are made for someone else to tie. I think it would've been impossible for Josh to do from his angle.
  15. Re: A Thread for Random Musings I was kicked off my computer for about 2 hours this morning while they put a new computer into my office. The new one has a way more comfy keyboard, flat panel monitor, and far less clutter. No complaints.
  16. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Well, MY TAP is 0%! And I'm darn proud of it!
  17. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER And one more; Yomi in her summer uniform:
  18. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Here's a more natural pose for Yomi:
  19. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Closer to 16, actually. Chiyo-chan's the one who's 10. Among the girls, Sakaki is the tallest and most developed, but Yomi's a close second.
  20. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Yeah, she's definitely one of the more attractive cast members of Azumanga Daioh. I don't ever remember her in THAT pose, but that's okay . . .
  21. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Some Yomi cosplay (and not bad at all):
  22. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Hey, Josh. There's some interesting Yomi fanart out there:
  23. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER That's awesome. I love my cameo. But I can't rep you again yet. Not for another day or two. Darn you and your making me laugh out loud at work!
