Re: The cranky thread
That's difficult. Don't know what to say but hope things look up. I guess too often our projections and expectations aren't realistic, but that doesn't take not achieving them any better.

Thank you. Do you have any others that you would like me to take a stab at?

My cat just walked in, sat down, sneezed on me three times in quick succession, then got up and walked out again.
I've become Kitty Kleenex.

I think I will from now on call you Clifford the Big Red Lizard.
Which sounds like I am naming my schlong but none the less amuses me.

From this game session:

Re: The cranky thread
This is an oversimplification, but I think you should find someone who likes you as you are. I don't believe that's no one. I understand your lifestyle may not be "great" by a societal or even your personal standard, and while you should always strive for more, someone should like you for who you are and understand the direction you want to go.
But, hey, I'm a million miles away from the reality of your situation.

Re: A Thread for Random Musings
Energy has been sucked out of me and left me with a bad cold. I could of struggled into work, but I really didn't want to do the traditional rush thru one part of my job so that I could deliver the ton of litter. (And I do mean 2000 pounds, record day was a little over 2500). I'd probably be worse over next morning. Back to sleep.

On the "neat" pictures front, here's a page I found while doing some Alchemy research. It's a bunch of really cool art representing alchemical symbols of various metals.
If I didn't like my snarky Cylon avatar so much, I'd be tempted to use one of these...

Re: A Thread for Random Musings
keithcurtis' avatar just made me do a double-take, and even then it was so brief that by the time I looked again, it was gone...and I was more than half-convinced I'd imagined it. I actually waited for it to come around again just to be sure!

Re: Musings on Random Musings
I wouldn't fall for that old one.
He tried that with me by playing possum. Now I could do it but when you are a giant green lizard with a body odour problem, a hyperactive tail and radioactive breath it just don't work. It didn't help matters that in this state he was highly ticklish so one little tickle and the tails wags rather cutely. Give or take the fact that several buildings and vehicles get destroyed by said wagging tail in the process.

It's a shorthand for Hathor's 'portfolio' of fertility, sensual pleasures, etc. (And it was cribbed from Col. O'Neil's description of the Goa'uld called Hathor in Stargate. )

To be fair, he was indicating that it was a "routine" and therefore a controlled behavior. Although Cancer's point is also valid. And Enforcer84 raises a valid point as well.

Map of London. No idea of the time frame on this one, though it looks like an oldie. Larger version.
