Me: “Yes, I am well aware of sales tax.”

Creepy shopkeeper (now exasperated): “Listen to me!  I am evil! I sell despair and enslavement!”
Me (also exasperated): “Yes, we are trapped in a capitalist plutocracy, I get it already!”

It is very gratifying to know my friend, former houseboy, sometimes coworker, and fellow security agent (as part of Arisia’s Men in Green) was loved by many others that he touched.
