1. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Unfortunately, the cake is a lie.
2. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Fixed that for you.
3. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Running from the zombie hoard, eh?
4. Re: "Neat" Pictures There's a link at the bottom that explains the "floating heads."
5. Re: A Thread for Random Videos Amazing! And I thought my Tai Chi teacher was flexible. He's got nothing on this guy.
6. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. I thought the first one was "Iron Man." The second one needs to watch out for Purple People Eaters.
7. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I continuously ask that same question. I really think it needs to be renamed "uncommon sense." I'm serious.
8. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER He might have become a deer stalker.
9. Re: "Neat" Pictures I find it interesting that there is no mention of it eating bunnehs... I think I may sense the training of a minion occurring right under our noses.
10. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Ah, that is less scary than the possible alternatives...
11. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER So you're saying that there are other items that pop up with that query?
12. Re: "Neat" Pictures Okay, I think I get it. So, if I modify this picture slightly... This is what we would be looking for?
13. Re: "Neat" Pictures Wouldn't it have to have a bunch of small plasma teeth to really be what we're thinking? And I think that would probably fall into the category of overkill.
14. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I guess it's good you didn't name it $..t. Although, that would be quite humorous as well. And with spoken narrative turned on, that would be even funnier.
15. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Your plate is full of Plato? Perhaps it's time to break out the Play-Doh.
16. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Interestingly, my best friend is a very serious fault finder and I am a truster (for the most part). We actually had an interesting discussion on our specific views and it boiled down to, he trusts no one until they prove trustworthy. That includes everything they say and do. I on the other hand, tend to trust most people until they prove untrustworthy. However, I am not blindingly trustful. I do tend to give people the benefit of the doubt most of the time... unless it is on the Internet.
17. Re: A Thread for Random Videos Um... I'll just let the title speak for itself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3GiEGPm-Ws
18. Re: "Neat" Pictures Yup, used to sing that song with the kids.
19. Re: A Thread for Random Videos Love VSauce! Also VSauce2, and apparently there is now a VSauce3, but I haven't checked out the channel yet.
20. Re: A Thread for Random Videos A friend of mine in high school had an enormous black lab that was able to jump their 6' fence, so they put in an electrical wire to keep him from jumping over. The dog would actually attack the wire and bite it while it shocked him. And he would do it repeatedly.
21. Re: A Thread for Random Videos You've heard of slight of hand. Have you heard of slight of body? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FxWDtvc8ho
22. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Oh, cool. I'll check that out.
23. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Hm... I'll have to talk to my kids' music teacher and see if he has any metronomes. I think everyone uses digital metronomes these days, so trying to do this experiment might prove difficult. Maybe my daughter's university professors have some analog metronomes... I'm really curious to know what the different beats would resolve to, if they would become syncopated in some fashion, or if it would remain a dissonant beat. Might be an interesting study in musical composition as well.
24. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER What if the timings on the metronomes were different? If some were say 90 BPM and others were 133 BPM? I'm assuming that there would be no way for the oscillations to equalize, but I wonder if they "embed" in that the midpoints of the beats would synchronize.
