It took them this long to post a generic "Champions Online is currently offline. We are aware of this issue and are working on bringing the server back online as soon as possible." pop-up on the home page.

Then, one day, I went into work clean shaven and my hair cut down short. This guy took a look at me and said, "There's something different about you... did you get contacts?"

Re: The cranky thread I've lost 25+ pounds since May because I've been on the Atkin's diet. People only seem to notice it when I mention it, and they they say, "Oh, yeah. You look a lot better, your face is thinner," etc. Alas, I'm cranky because the reality of my finances makes it necessary for me to abandon that diet! It's going to be really hard for me to try to eat "normally" again without thinking, "Dear God, the carbs will make me fat again!" That'll be my motivation to committing myself to regular exercise.
