  2. Re: Challenge The Jackalope - If You Dare! hah...one minute too late...shoulda let my kid run around with his pants down for just a few seconds longer
  3. Re: Challenge The Jackalope - If You Dare! A villain who's known as "The Bard," Vowed revenge when expelled from Julliard His powers are strong, Through rhyme or through song, (I doubt this'll be very hard.)
  4. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images I deleted some images here in order to meet the new 1 meg cap policy. Let's keep the thread going, though. I'd like to see some of your "animated series"-style takes on Champions Universe characters or interesting comics industry characters that we're not likely to find in other forums.
  5. Re: Game Maps and Counters Exchange I deleted my image attachments from this thread, per the new posting cap.

    stun x

Re: stun x ...but if you were just adding the STUN Mods together like Steph, you weren't quite as retarded as we were. We multiplied them in sequence. (In my defense, I was like 13 years old and had owned the rules for about an hour or two at that point.) I think I remember knocking out a dinosaur or an elephant or something with a pistol when we were giving the combat rules a trial run.

    stun x

Re: stun x Hehe...We did the same thing when I picked up my first HERO game, Justice, Inc. (I think also back in about '84).
  8. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Unbelievably cool stuff...you should be proud. I, too, especially like Dr. Mayfair. That is a supercool pulp-science character...a villain, I'm guessing?
  9. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Thanks for the feedback, Publius. Here's Marvel's Spiderwoman (the cool older one, not that lame one with the black-and-white costume).
  10. Re: Superhero Images Cool to hear how the images/characters are being used. It'd be interesting to hear more, or from anyone else using the stuff I posted.
  11. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Here's a version that has a different color finishing technique...looks a little more like an animation cel to me. Let me kow which one you prefer and why.
  12. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images I felt like doing somebody complicated...a trademark character...for practice. Here's my Hawkeye.
  13. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Golden Age hero...Tarantula...detective and inventor extraordinaire.
  14. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Aware of that. I assumed that the "Roy G. Biv" remark was a reference to the Rainbow Raider, a Silver-Age Flash villain.
  15. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images That Amerigal image is cool...reminds me of a minimalist artist (not comics) my brother used to love...Vargas?
  16. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images
  17. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Any resemblance that the 'Prismatic Pirate' has to characters from the Flash's rogues gallery is purely coincidence. ...plus, I don't know what you're talking about. heh.
  18. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Nice to see others getting their animated groove on... Here's a Golden Age villain I made today...'Prismatic Pirate.' (I love the 'cheesy-is-cool' aspect of the supers of yesteryear.)

  20. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Ah...I see. I learned several years ago from a good friend how much it can suck at times to be a south-paw. My buddy Chey used to pull me aside and ask me to do careful scissors work for him. I had never realized before that point just how many things we use regularly that are not ambidextrously designed.
  21. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Excellent demo there with the color comparisons. I do see what you mean. I figured out what you meant on my way out the door this afternoon (to our weekly game, in fact), but didn't get a chance until now to post. I did try using some less vibrant blues with my 'John Bull' and 'Uncle Sam' pics. Jeez...every time I see that Seeker pic I made it looks goofier. I was pretty happy with how the weapon props came out on that one, though.
  22. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images Cool background for Equinox. Thanks for posting it. Here's a Seeker I just did. Editing: I just realized the face was awful. Retouched and reposted.
  23. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images I'm using a crappy mouse, a slow PC, and time that should be more constructively spent (on things like sleep) for this stuff. Obsessiveness and irresponsibility are the keys, my friend.
  24. Re: Animated Series Style Character Images ...And now I can sleep. My favorit-est NPC has been realized in the Animated Series style. I'm kind of stoked about it. Uncle Sam...his non-BTAS style image is posted here. Editing: Juiced up the red in the image a little...looked too brownish to me.
