Re: I'm in the market for a house.... INT for Bases was fixed in the Errata. That's online this site somewhere. In town, land is hyper-expensive. Unless your character is minor noble or major merchant, no land or maybe 15'x15' greenery. Don't pay that point to x2, it wouldn't happen. A house in town has 2, 3, maybe 4 floors. In HeroSystem you pay for floor space, not land space. With 3 floors, divide the Size by 3 to get land size. 32 hexes is 1200 sq ft, 400 sq ft per floor. Way too small! Next size up is 50 hexes, 620 sq ft land area. Still too small! Next size might be OK, 990 sq ft land area. A mini-mansion is 3 or 4 sizes even bigger. Needs more servents too.

Re: Necro spells Have you looked at FHG? You probably have no insult meant. If you haven't, the only spells it's got that low powered are option 2 Harg. Life-Shield page 157, Osseous Armor page 159 and option 2, Slumber Tomb and options, Grey Portal page 161, Detect Life page 162 and option 2, and Perfect Embalming page 163. Not a lot is it? Some of mine. See The Bones. N-Ray Perception {Sight Group}, thru flesh, Sense, Discriminatory, 17 points. You Only See Bones. Naked Adv: Usable As Attack, for See The Bones, 17 points plus Naked Adv: Inherent, for See The Bones, Linked to other Naked Adv. (-1/2), 3 points. Total 20 points.

There's a dude in each hex, each dude takes 16d6 (roll once, each dude takes the same). BUT!! dudes don't "run into each other" like a puddle of water does. Transform, Major, 5d6, AoE any (covers 8 hexes, the GM's nice). There's 800kg of water in each hex, 6.4t total. Does the Transform to ice (or steam, or any f****** thing) happen when you hit double 10 BOD or double 13? I understand you don't have to hit double 10 eight times; that's what the AOE is for. What if it's MegaScaled AoE, 1" is 250 meters? It's now 12.5kt of water per hex, so do you have to hit double 24 BOD? Double 27 BOD for the whole mass? Or 10 (13?) BOD for an ordinary hex? That make the question easy enough to understand?

Re: [help] Divine Magic Make the VPP Usable By Other, only by other (the god). Ignore or work round the "granting" part of UBO; the god can always use the VPP. Add an END Reserve done the same, with the REC needing to be on the god's good side. The priest doesn't pray for a spell, or even a kind of spell. He just prays for help. The god does what it wants.

Its Transform with Limited Target, and other stuff. To make it useful its got to have AOE. Begs the question: what BOD is the Tform acting against? The BOD of the whole thing he's trying to Tform, or each hex of the target? My friend says each hex, like each target in an EB AOE. I'm not convinced. Is that right? Another question: if the Tform is acting on the BOD of each hex, what about if the AOE is Megascaled? What BOD is the Tform acting on then?

Re: potion Turakian Age? You're probably using the Fantasy Hero Grimoire and Fantasy Hero Grimoire II. In Fantasy Hero Grimoire on page 6 is says the Turakian/Fantasy Hero Grimoire way of building powers as potions is based on Fantasy Hero, page 281. You buy the power to make potions, you don't buy them potion by potion. I don't get what you're talking about with the thing about herbs, though.

Re: Fantasy GM's - question... Trying to scrod your GM is bad. Asking others to help you is worse. Asking strangers to help is foolish. If I knew your GM I'd tell him. If someone on the board knows, he might tell him. FHG p.188 "The GM may add other forms to the 'restricted' list..." It's the GM's world anyway, but here it says he can make the spell fit his world.
