  1. But Imagine The Grief You Would Feel! The Death Of Friends Would Tear You Apart Mentally! As Words Die, The Pain and Suffering Is TOO GREAT TO HANDLE!!!!
  2. So, you're telling me that you would want to be immortal? That is more of a curse than a blessing. Watching all your friends die and there is nothing you can do, living forever. As Words Die, I Cannot Imagine Immortality Because It Would Suck For Me
  3. That's Funny As Words Die, I Cant See Anything On This Forum Anymore!!!!
  4. A Soul in my campaign functions as the way to feel empathy and remorse, which are not needed emotions. Besides, they wouldn't know that their soul was stolen because of IPE. As Words Die, A Soul Stealer Is Arrested For Petty Theft.
  5. Imagine this power: Soul Stealer: Drain Soul (Souls Have One Point In My Campaign and a player without a soul is considered to be undead but still has free will), 2D6, IPE (Fully Obvious To Fully Invisible, Effects Are Hidden From Other Characters; +1 1/2), Delayed Return Rate (Points Return At A Rate of 5 per Century or return upon target character's death; +4), AVAD NND (Life Support: Curse Immunity; 0), Reduced END (0 End; +1/2) (140 APs) No Range (-1/2), Gestures with both Hands (-1/2) Concentration (0 DCV; -1/2). 56 RP This power is horrible, yes, but the person who uses it cannot control them per se. The user has their soul, but unless you link a mind control to the power, you cannot control them. Thus, this is rather useless. As Words Die, I Discover I Am The King of Useless Powers.
  6. Um... I still don't think it would work. The cost of summon is 1 RP and the cost of a major transform, which does the same thing, costs 16 RP. The rule of HERO is that, with equally similar powers, you must choose the one that costs most. As Words Die, I Ask If We Can We Add Improved Results Group Yet.
  7. I built a mass healer, Daraius, who had Healing BODY 3d6, Decreased Re-Use Duration (1 Turn), AOE 4 Meter Radius Selective. and he could duplicate, so he sent his duplicates to fight and he just constantly healed them. As Words Die, The Daraius Clone Army Is Complete With 32 Members.
  8. Healing; Resurrection. Think About It, Every Person Who Ever Dies Comes Back To Life, Probably Endless War and Fighting. No One Dying, Everyone Suffering. As Words Die, OH WAIT!!!! The Words Were REVIVED.
  9. My suggestion is to use Air to Water. The liquid to water one would require you to have a large amount of liquid. 1 point of effect is about 4 liter of water (Less if desired). Create Water: Major Transform: Air Into Water 2d6. Heals Back With Effective Counter Spell. (20 APs) Gestures (-1/4). 16 RP. As Words Die, I Would Create A Spell Like This, But Add "Improved Results Group (Any Liquid +1/4) So I Could Make Soda!
  10. Best One Point Ever Spent: My Bounty Hunter In Dark Champions, Perk: Positive Rep (Badass). As Words Die, I Love My Character Concepts.
  11. That's funny! Spirit Bomb: Blast 75d6 Area of Effect 125m Radius. (937 APs) RBOS (-1/4) Automatic Extreme Side Effects (Draw Life Energy From The People) (-2), Extra Time 5 Episodes (-2 1/2) Gestures Throughout (-1/2) Incantations Throughout (Talking To The World) (-1/2). 139 RP As Words Die, We Discover Goku Spends Too Much Time Screaming!!!
  12. Actually, if anyone here has watched DBZ, Goku's Spirit Bomb is really amazing, but at a great toll. Spirit Bomb: Blast 75d6 Area of Effect 125m Radius. (937 APs) RBOS (-1/4) Automatic Extreme Side Effects (Draw Life Energy From The People) (-2), Extra Time 1 Turn (-1 1/4) Gestures Throughout (-1/2) Incantations Throughout (Talking To The World) (-1/2). 170 RP: 93 END Cost. As Words Die, We All Say KA-ME-HA-ME-HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
  13. The George Washington Effect: Mind Control 3d6+1 (Standard Effect 10 Points) Constant (+1/2) AOE Radius 4 meter (+1/4) (30 AP's) No Range (-1/2) Set Effect (I cannot tell a lie) (-1) 12 RP This makes it so that any normal person will ALWAYS Believe You. As Words Die, We Realize That The Cherry Tree Story Was Actually Made Up!!!!!
  14. I thought it would. As Words Die, Well They Just Die!
  15. I Did Forget About That! As Words Die, CON Is Now Realized As The Weirdest Stat
  16. I put 15D6 Because The Stimulant Puts Them At "An Incredibly High Level Of Performance". When I hear that, i think Super-heroic type level. Besides, isn't CON a 1:1 Aid and Not a 1:2 Like DEX? As Words Die, The 15D6 > 4D6 For Super-Heroic, but the 4D6 > 15D6 in Heroic!!!
  17. I love that finally someone gave me props on my write-up skills. I tried to give a generic side effect for the drugs, and maybe he can write up a full description of "Reduced Function" if the PC's are going to encounter these drugs a lot. If not, then just leave it as "Reduced Function". As Words Die, Finally I Get A Compliment!!!
  18. Combat Drugs. Aid STR, CON, OCV, DCV, and SPEED 15D6. Expanded Effect(5 Characteristics at once; +2), Delayed Return Rate (5 Points Per Minute; +1) (360 APs) Charges (4 Charges (Charges Recover Under Limited Circumstances; Must Make New Drugs); -2), OAF Fragile (-1 1/4), Extra Time (1 Turn; Only To Activate; -3/4), Major Side Effects (Reduced Function for 2D6 Days) (Side Effects Occur Automatically, Side Effect Occurs When Last Points Fade; -1) Restrainable (Stopping The Flow Of Chemicals; -1/4) Real Cost: 58 Points Here You Go! As Words Die, The Drugs Come Into Play
  19. The store here has it for $14.99 for a PDF! As Words Die, We See A $5 Dollar Discount, Enough For A Long Sandwich!
  20. I mean The FRED is a good system, I used to play in it, and I love it. I switched to 6E and I thought someone of The FRED's downfalls (such as the broken VPP, the inability to build a "scary is a factor" due to Comeliness, and combined stats making DEX cost a fortune.) were fixed and some of the new problems (The Meter System) for 6E were outweighed by the problems they fixed. I have felt the pain (Not Really For Me Though) of dealing with meters. However, maybe a player could use 6E rules, but use the hexes like The FRED. Going on a different route, I think that $10 for Fantasy Hero: Complete is not that much of an investment. Besides, it has a full rules set and come with example characters. It also is a good transition piece, as it was the first thing I got when switching to 6E. You said the template was missing STR: 10 (Reducible to 1, 0 with permission) DEX: 10 (Reducible to 1, 0 with permission) CON: 10 (Reducible to 1, 0 with permission) INT: 10 (Reducible to 1, 0 with permission) EGO: 10 (Reducible to 1, 0 with permission) PRE: 10 (Reducible to 1, 0 with permission) OCV: 3 (Reducible to 0) DCV: 3 (Reducible to 0) OMCV: 3 (Reducible to 0) DMCV: 3 (Reducible to 0) SPEED: 2 (Reducible to 1, 0 with permission) PD: 2 (Reducible to 0) ED: 2 (Reducible to 0) REC: 4 (Reducible to 1, 0 with permission) END: 20 (Reducible to 0) BODY:10 (Reducible to 1) STUN: 20 (Reducible to 1) Running: 12m (Reducible to 0) Swimming 4m (Reducible to 0) Leaping 4m Horizontal and 2m Vertical (Reducible to 0) As Words Die, I'm A Missionary For 6E and I am preaching it.
  21. The Hexes Aren't That Large Of A Problem, Especially if you have played games outside of HERO. I mean games like D + D use squares, which is what i use. It makes for slight difficulty determining things like Turn Mode (Which I lowered to 45 degrees instead of 60) and AOE: Cone (Which I Normally Replace With AOE: Line), but overall it works well. I would just buy the PDF version of 6E1 and 6E2. Together in the shop they are $30. If you are just getting the PDF of Champions I think it is $20. And Then again, the one for Fantasy Hero (Which Contains A Full Rules set) costs $10 For The PDF! As Words Die, The Transition Phase Is Not Yet Complete.
  22. These are cool vampires, so I like them too. Perhaps, the use of them would be in smaller scale, such as a certain type of vampires. Honestly, the idea of this is brilliant, but easily can be exploited. Many vampires could "feed" upon different people to constantly increase their power. Let's Say We Have A Vampire With The Following Stats. 20 Str 15 Dex 25 Con 40 Ego 20 Int 25 Pre 4 Ocv 4 Dcv They could feed on a powerful fighter and increase their STR, CON, OCV, and Probably DCV. They could feed on a strong willed wizard and increase their EGO, INT, and PRE. They could feed on a rogue and increase their DEX, EGO, and INT. They could continue to feed until they became so strong that feed only keeps them alive. As Words Die, The World Is Confused On How A Palindromedary Excretes
  23. Perhaps a flea or a vampiric bat will do the trick Not Yet good sir, not yet. As Words Die, The Palindromedary is turned into a vampire.
  24. Perhaps If A Vampire Were To Suck The Blood Of, Say, A Magic User, Then The Vampire Could Have Some Sort Of Charges Power From That Person. Maybe Define This As A "Lamprey", Who Attach Themselves To Many Fish, and sometimes develop fins. Aspect of the Lamprey: Drain Power + Charges Of Same Power As Words Die, A Mimic Vampire Sucks The Blood Of Another Vampire!
