Well I purchased M&M's Atlas to Earth Prime. I was very impressed, especially with the African, South American and Australian sections. I was less impressed with China. The Lost World section could be made into a Fantasy book all on its own! Unison and NATO has some interesting ideas. Seriously if you want some interesting ideas for your supers game and not fall into the same old tropes / cliches, this is for you!

THIS. So how do we price this?

Reading this made me think of Scott Bennies "Gestalt" world. All powers come from a specific source with the super tech eventually percolating down to the normal person. Aliens are very specific, and no real atlternate dimensions. Replace his power source with "Magic" and you're good to go. I'd give it a look for inspiration!

So from time to time I try to convert games from one system to Hero just to see how it will work out and balance. (hint it doesn't) One I was having trouble with was the Summoner. They have a whole set of summoning circles that brings something to them that they can then try to dominate and keep as a servant for the next few months. So I was thinking of Summon as the power, then realized that after being summoned they are actually made a Follower under Hero rules. But Followers can get expensive, and the summoner can at higher levels get access to more dominated creature as well as more powerful ones. As well they can switch out their Followers if they want to go to the trouble. SOOOO.... any ideas on how to price this? The circle is a focus and immobile, and the process takes time. But after the summoning, it can be destroyed. So is this a limitation on the Follower power? Or just a SFX? I find this interesting and look forward to your responses!

The Force Field is based on the V&V Willpower ability, so I would go with the more golden glow, as it is more low key. As to how he came to our era? Let me think of something and I'll post it later. PS that pic is awesome, thank you!

None. I use V&V to roll up a character, then I take the powers/skills to come up with a background idea. Then I use Hero Designer to stat them up to how I feel they would look in Hero terms and post them. They are free to use, so if you see something you like, grab it, modify it, and use it!
