...Battlemaster attacked the bunker in a display of the latest upgrades to his power armor that he live streamed via his remote controlled drones in the hopes of attracting mercenary work. The fact that Vile-8 and some other prisoners were freed was just a bonus. However he soon felt the heat from not only the military, but the Iron Cadre whose plans and prototypes he had used for said upgrades. He needed to get out of the country quick and sought the aid of villain 3...

The White Crow is a magician/shaman with a bird motif. He helps maintain the prison for their captive, as well as battle any menaces who arise out of the desert. His signature spells are the cloud of feathers to teleport, and the stream of feathers that he uses to fill the air with deadly projectiles.

Something is buried in the desert of Utah. A group of Mormons and Indians have banded together to keep it locked down so it's not a menace to the world. Who are these six Locks (3 mormons, 3 Indians please)

    Stupid Cupid

Valentine's Day should be a holiday and that is what Stupid Cupid  id trying to do. He shoots people with love arrows, so that they fall in love, but other arrows which could kill to stop them celebrating Christmas.
So shooting a Santa collecting money in the street ? Check !
Launching fire arrows into choirs singing Christmas carols ? Check !
Storming into a mall firing arrows into decorations to ruin them and people dressed up for the season (elves, Santas, Reindeer, trees, snowmen, Wise Men, Shepherds, King Herod) ? Check ! His most notable victim was supermodel Christiana Lyndstrum who was dressed up as a lamb (you know how certain people would get attractive women dressed in what amounts to a lamb costume, well just like that) and she now bears scars on the arms and legs where the arrows went in.
Yes, this sort of behaviour will certainly get people to turn Valentine's Day into a holiday

Friday Blackson is Black Friday ,  a man whose very touch encourages greed and shopping.  He was once in retail himself, and wants to elevate Black Friday to an official holiday,  in spite the fact that the 'holiday' singles the fast run to Christmas.

Needless to say, most of the Xmas-Men dislike him because of that fact.

The Puritan Pilgrim, a man with the strength of ten because of the purity of his heart! Actually, more like a few hundred - he's a pretty good brick. He despises Christmas because of it's associations with idolatry, paganism, and, far worse, people enjoying themselves. He espouses Thanksgiving as the only appropriate American holiday - an appropriately somber and religious celebration, of course.

Linus Van Pelt worked as an underappreciated botanist for many years. After being assaulted by a street Santa, he snapped and decided it was time to unleash his skills on the world. No one will ever mess with the Great Pumpkin ever again

Lobo Stark was a bounty hunter/gunslinger for hire, until he was ambushed, shot and left for dead in the wilderness.  It is unknown exactly what type of undead he is, he looks exactly like he does in life.  He can be physical or not at will,  he is a dual wielders of Colts who can make his guns appear in his hands out of thin air, the bullets can harm the living as well slow down/stop the undead (even the non-corporeal undead react to the injury as a living person would with the same injury, and if "killed" will return to the other plane they came from).  He seems almost like a spirit of unrest and possibly vengeance (he was none too happy, as he left behind a sickly 12-year old daughter, her sickness was the very reason to turned to being a gun for hire.  And desperately would like to know what became of her life.  Also has limited ability to shadow teleport (using 2 non-connecting shadows as a "portal")

Mostly quiet and reserved, and barely even intereacts with his allies.  And only changes his demeanor when engaged with his target where he approaches his fight with reluctant but inevitable resolve. Even during the team's engagements, he may or may not participate, battle or otherwise  (unless ordered specifically by the Dead Man, or otherwise motivated by a reason known only to him)  He only follows The Dead Man in Black in hopes of finding out the truth about his daughter's life without him.

Edit: It is possible, finding out his daughter's story would cause him to return him to his resting place, that is if she had gotten well and had a relatively happy life.  If her life were to have been tragic, he could snap, and become an indiscriminate, and uncontrollable spirit of destruction.   Obviously neither outcome, would be in the Dead Man's best interest, so it is quite possible the Dead Man has no interest in seeing Lobo's desires be fulfilled.  At least not as long as Stark is still needed.

Note: No relation to Lobo from comics, despite a common trade and name, and any commonality with Tony Stark is purely coincidental.  Main (and loose) inspiration was Coyote Starrk, the first Espada from Bleach. (maybe a little inspiration from Alucard of Hellsing Ultimate, too)

    Last of His Band

In life, he was Comanche, a warrior, proud and free. He sought to drive the settlers from his land, and he expected to die, a free man under the bright sun and the blowing wind.
Instead, he died in a hole, in the dark and the stink, forgotten, in chains.
    Rage! Rage!
His people died in droves, confined in the dead lands of the desert, too little food, too little freedom.
    Rage! Rage!
The settlers walked his land, mined it's heart, crushed the sacred places, their cities sprouting like diseased mushrooms, pushing up through the poisoned soil.
    Rage! Too much rage!
His skeletal hands broke the soil over his corpse. He took back his gun, his knives, his tools from the glass case the settlers placed them in to gawk and point.
Then the Man in Black who was dead came to him and said, "If you follow me, I will give you revenge." And the Last of His Band knew he did not lie.

The Last of His Band is a spirit of revenge made corporeal. A walking skeleton dressed as a Comanche raider, he seeks to bring death and destruction upon those who have despoiled his land and scattered his people, and his sense of blame includes their descendants and heirs. Interestingly, those mystics who have viewed him claim he is not actually evil - whatever force brought him back does not seek solely destruction. This is reinforced by the fact that you can negotiate with Last of His Band - but do not lie, he will know, and he will kill you for it.

    The Dead Man in Black

There is a trope that goes that the bad guys wear black. This is certainly true with the bandit that ha been dubbed The Dead Man in Black. He looks like the typical gunslinger in a Western only he wears black. He is not a zombie despite the fact that bullets hit him and seem to have no effect. He can fire back and does often with lethal effect. The theory doing the rounds of law enforcement is that he is a revenant although what can now banish him is unknown. He has been burned 'to death', shot to pieces and thrown off a tall building but in each case he has returned with no loss of faculties. He carries six guns and a ten gallon hat which shows he is a cowboy. He seems to follow the Western code and will duel an enemy even if he is outgunned or beaten. However at other times he will shoot someone in the back. Some claim he is the brains of the group but then again who is going to go against him'

Sally Split was once a simple dance hall girl. Sure, she was beautiful. One day, a potential lover decided that if he couldn't have her, nobody could. Binding her to a log, he ran her into a buzzsaw.

Eventually, after a long time, Sally rose again as a physical ghost who is able to split apart into two beings and float into the air. She is a unwilling member of the Deadsperados.

Sometimes your spelling mistakes throw up real gems and this is one of them. I know what you were trying to say but this reads really funnily.

     Gibberish

This woman has an odd power that does not work the same way on people who are caught up in its effect. Some people will see things, others will hear things and others will hear things in their minds so they think they are being assailed by a telepath. But whatever the effect they believe they are seeing/hearing/experiencing gibberish. This makes explaining to the police what happened not worthwhile as no-one has the same experience. There are claims that some people have had their sense of feeling, smell and taste (both the physical and mental versions) affected but feeling/smelling/tasting gibberish is not something that you can readily explain. As a result some say that only one person can be responsible for this person's powers namely Dr Nymax! but no-one has had the courage, or the stupidity, to actually confront him with this. Which is just as well for he might reward the one who does so with an odd power or affliction. Like Hazy Shade of Winter, Gibberish is a background player and tends to wear a repulser field costume which stops people hitting her and reflects blasts/bullets. Not so good at mental powers and area effect powers though.

    Hazy Shade of Winter

Why is he called that ? Because mirage and all the other cool names were taken, that's why ! Hazy Shade tends to slip into the background and activate his illusions which seem real even to automatic sensors. He uses a different face so the police never pick him out twice. He is very quiet and is not demonstrative but he is respected by his peers because he is effective. He is not overconfident but neither is he a coward.

Suffering from insomnia, Derek St. John tried to develop a ultrasound device that enables people to sleep soundly. The 'Morpheus' device worked too well and Derek fell asleep for the first time in weeks.

He didn't wake up until a week later. Upon reawakening he discovered that the Morpheus device was stolen by his own brother Eugene who being an mechanical engineer himself, altered the device into a scythe and used it to not only put people into slumber but also somehow inflict vivid nightmares on the sleeping people before robbing them blind. Derek soon confronted Eugene who now called himself the Boogeyman and dressed like the grim reaper, zapped him with the scythe. Much to their surprise, the Morpheus weapon didn't affect Derek and during the struggle Eugene made his getaway.

Determined to undo the harm his brother had caused, Derek built another Morpheus machine and made a costume which concealed his identity.

Now as The Sandman, he ensures the innocent people of the city will sleep soundly without fear of the Boogeyman.

Little known fact - everybody's heartbeat is different.  The heart rate, the amplitude of the beats, little microscopic pauses between some beats.  If you've got good hearing-- and I mean really, really good -- you can tell one person from another in a pitch black room just by how their heart sounds.

My hearing is that sharp.  Good thing, too, since I'm blind as a bat.

You'd think that being blind would be a major impediment to a career as an assassin, but I do okay.  I've got this sonar-like ability that helps me know what's where, and my other senses are ramped up a bit too.  (Let's not talk about an empowered sense of smell.  One trip in a crowded elevator at a game convention should let you know how bad that could be.)  I can even make a good guess, based on the heart rate change and the smell of a sweat outbreak and what-not, whether someone's lying.  And trust me, you want to know when your client is lying to you about your next target.

I even made this tricked-out man-portable missile launcher.  Sure, the missiles are kinda small, not much larger than a rifle bullet.  But they home in on the target's heartbeat.  All I gotta do is fire in their general direction and the missiles will zip around obstacles, then wham!  Right in the ticker.

Anyway, that's why my code name is Heart Beat.

The thing is, he is not exactly a physical being, but a creature of the Internet who can exist in the physical world for a short time. If he is able to connect to Internet, he can 'download' any weapon or equipment he needs at a moment's notice.

    Wolfman of Watts

Lawrence Hilton-Talbot was caught up in the Watts riots and was running from the police and ended up hiding in an abandoned building. As he wandered deeper into the building he was stalked and attacked by what he thought was a guard dog and was left for dead. He survived and soon discovered on the next full moon that he was actually attacked by a werewolf and was now cursed to be one himself. He began a killing spree targeting police and other authority figures which brought him to the attention of Blacula. He wants to find a cure for his curse, but part of him does enjoy having the power to fight back against the establishment.
