Here are my three C songs:
"Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas

Quite possibly my favorite song ever. I love this song--love its energy, love its musicianship, love its lyrics. It's become something of a theme song for me. Once upon a time, I had even an email address that was 'carryonwaywardson@________.com'. True story.
"Cold and Clear" by Proto-Kaw

The spiritual successor (and predecessor!) to Kansas, Proto-Kaw re-formed in 2002 and have released three new albums since. This is a track from their 2011 album Forth. Kerry Livgren's exquisite songwriting is apparent on this hard-rocking piece of progressive deliciousness from America's heartland.
"Carve Away the Stone" by Rush

This song brings back so many memories, mostly of a metaphorical stone that I was trying to chip away, carve away, and/or roll away at the time. Much better now, thanks. (And if you can tell me what the time signature progressions through the bridge and chorus are, you've got a better ear than I have.)
