A: It's like freshly salted peanuts' date=' only without the salt, the peanuts or the freshness.[/quote']

Q: "Soynut butter"? What the heck is soynut butter?

A: They're making your life story into a limited edition comic book...written and illustrated by Rob Liefeld.

  2. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now?

"Astroboy (And the Proles on Parade)" by the Buggles. Playing the album' date=' [i']The Age of Plastic[/i], "Video" was 5 tracks ago.

I wasn't really fond of most of it. I liked Astroboy' date=' Clean Clean, Video, and Elisteree? I don't remember that title.[/quote']

I don't even remember anything other than "Video Killed the Radio Star" from that album. I'm pretty sure I heard it, though I know I've never owned it.

Loved Geoff Downes' work in Asia, though. :)

  4. Re: the Superdie

So, attached is my first (well, second, actually) cut at a dice design for the "superdice"

and here is how to read the numbers:

    hero_superdie_legend.png

I actually prefer this design to the "Bang! Pow!" bubbles design. Cleaner, and much easier to read. And it makes the dice look like entries from the Periodic Table. I love it!

Since we're on the subject of dice..

when you add up Stun and Body damage from a dice roll, how do you add them up and how quickly? ... For others, it's much quicker to take dice and add them in groups of ten.

I group the dice into groups of 10 for Stun. as for BODY, I use the little trick Lord Mhoram taught me: Take the number of dice rolled, add the number or sixes, and subtract the number of ones. Viola, there's your BODY count.

Excellent post! I'll Rep you when that annoying 24-hour thing expires.

I need to rep Supreme Serpent when I am able to again!

    I got him.

Excellent points, Serpent. It's amazing to think of how fast a city would fall apart if any significant sector of its population suddenly wasn't there.

Players have to run past third base and the opposing team's dugout on the way to first base. And don't even get me started on the lines to the restrooms....

Do you really want Teh Bunneh playing hockey...?

NT: Changes that should be made to make hockey more appealing to American audiences.

Make all the players huddle up after every change of possession, so that a game with three 20-minute periods will take four hours to play.

    A: "Brickbat lingerie".

  9. Re: WWYCD? Women City Savers Only

Jack Diamond wouldn't have that big a problem with it. He had cosmetic and pyschic surgery once to infiltrate a villain group. This is just another disguise, right?

Pariah (with an INT roll) remembers that his old Order had a spell for this kind of transformation. Once he figures it out, he's in.

Thunderstrike is a little weirded out by the idea of becoming a woman, even for a short period of time. Given that his role models are Black Cat and Gibraltar, there's a part of him that thinks being a superheroine means being aggressive, domineering, and/or cranky all the time. Can you blame him for being hesitant?

Wild Card dives right in. He's got 3d6 of Luck, what's the worst that could happen?

Onyx looks at it as a research opportunity. Not only does he get to beat up a new group of villains, he gets to see the entire experience from an entirely different point of view. He'll probably take notes along the way and spend two full days afterward writing it up.

Fang has no problems with it. He's been living as a reluctant werewolf for the past several years, so he's already got the whole moon cycle thing down.

Magnetite, Amethyst, Morningstar, and ColdFire, already being female, proceed to move in and start kicking butt. ColdFire really hopes that fetus she's carrying won't be a problem....
