I can definitely see where the ability to burn salt water would come in handy for any up and coming villain. Could also be used for an alternate energy source (as the article says) for the heroic side of the hook. (Originally posted in Pulp but then I figured you guys could use it too!)

  3. Re: bourne In the third film he's a deductive machine. From his high-stress, CIA avoiding tactics, to his improvisational fighting style. Hyper-Man is spot on.

Re: What does YOUR underground mutant organization do when: To clarify: When gently reminded that "Remember you're supposed to take this guy alive." after declaring his intent, the character said to me only: "I just want to tag the guy." Then, without declaring any specific hit locations, or even hit location areas: he shot the guy. This same character has also taken it upon himself to build a version of the "Brotherhood of Mutants" with all that that implies. If you're not familiar, the BoM was Magneto's group that decided that Mutants were a new, superior race, and that Humans needd to be shown that: through violence. So this player has explained to me some of his future plans, all of which seem to be terrorist actions. This new human inferiority idea of his was created all on his own, with no GM or world input, and no character backstory to go along with it. Thanks for all the help, guys, I'm really appreciating the input.
  5. The roleplaying group goes on a mission with them, and kills the only enemy informant they had access to. Long story short: My group (I'm GMing this Mutant-based DC game) got picked up by an underground mutant organization after being pretty much screwed over by a government-duping corporation. Either way, The Saints (the underground group) were going after this guy David Wash in a "move up the food chain" type operation to get at the real bad guys. There was a meeting to be had at an illegal blood match for an equally illegal mutant fight-ring, and the plan was to take out David Wash's bodyguards and take him alive for questioning. One of my players, knowingly, obviously, after every bodyguard was down, shot David Wash twice and killed him. So what would YOUR poor, underequipped, government\corporate fighting organization do if this happened to them? Thank you for any insight, Suave P.S.   7. Re: power build advice I would go with: Invisibility (Sight) (20 Active Points); Only Effective vs Infrared (-1). PLUS: Invisibility (Radar) (10 Active Points) Total Cost: 20 Points. You could make the Disadvantage on the first power at -1/2 in which case the total cost would be 25 points. That's how I would do it at least.

  11. I have an upcoming Fantasy campaign in which I would like to play a Martial Artist. I've borrowed a copy of the Ultimate Martial Artist, but I would love a few ideas on some of his additional powers. I was hoping to build him with the concept that he has complete and total control over his body, to a supernatural or "magical" level. I had planned to buy a short teleportation power (special effect: "throwing" his cells to the other side of the opponent\room\whatever). I have toyed with the idea of giving him some healing only usable on poison (you know, concentrating on purging the poison from his body). I would love some ideas with additional powers and abilities a character such as this would have. As far as I know it's 150pt game with 60 active point camp, 20s across the board for stat max. Thanks for any and all help!
