  1. There was a plumbing emergency so I had to step up and help but afterward I got in trouble because I had a plumbing licence but hadn't been plumbing and the plumbers professional association hadn't assigned another plumber to my area because their records showed that there was already someone with a plumber's licence there. They were going to hit me with a hefty fine for not doing my plumbing responsibilities.
  2. They’re thinking about their jobs, their romantic hopes, their irritations, what’s on TV, whatever. Their lives do not revolve around Superman even though he could kill them all by snapping his fingers. They think about Superman like we think about the Sun. Vastly powerful, necessary for our survival, but taken for granted as something that’s just there. Usually we have more immediate concerns than the presence of the Sun, because the Sun is always there whether we think about it or not.

  5. Protests Are Being Held in Small Cities and Towns Across the U.S.—And Young People Are Leading the Charge Protests have grown widespread across the country with huge turnout in smaller cities and rural communities throughout the U.S. https://time.com/5847228/george-floyd-nationwide-protests/ Just because a song claimed it wouldn’t happen in small towns because the friendly and peaceful inhabitants of those towns would kill them, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Sure, there aren’t any now that I know of, but they’ve pretty much stopped in the big cities too.

Acheron is a world that is slowly dying. It has lost it's magnetic field and the solar wind is gradually eroding its atmosphere. Most of the land surface has played out soil, with the exception being a valley that has been eroded out of the remains of an extinct shield volcano and the river delta at the base of the the volcano. Days and nights are long, and the night sky is beautiful to look at since since without a magnetic field the upper atmosphere fluoresces under the solar wind, a phenomenon similar to the Northern Lights but one that can be seen on the equator.
