  1. “Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.”
  2. That was the problem. It turned the series premise from an epic journey past many obstacles to reach their home into Gilligan's Island in space. The distance and direction of their movement didn't matter because the shortcut that would take them home could be anywhere in any direction. By the start of the final episode they were still nowhere near their destination and just waiting for that deus ex machina to pop up and announce the series was over.
  3. That I can explain. They were Hondurans so calling the cops wasn't a good option for them.
  4. The CNN anchor continued with his argument by adding a women is "considered to be in her prime in her 20s and 30s and maybe 40s."
  5. The single biggest problem with Voyager was the 70 year time table for them to get back. If it had been a 7 year time table, then progress would have been meaningful.
  6. So in this science fiction police procedural police officers are outfitted with a suit of powered armour that magnifies their reflexes, physical strength and emotional responses. 7. Hudson City was fairly obviously Gotham City inspired, and Gotham was New York inspired, which is why Hudson City is named after the Hudson River which flows into New York's harbour. Vibora Bay, despite being in Florida is New Orleans inspired.
  8. Lupin III versus Catseye: It's nice to see the anniversary of the Catseye anime bringing them back to light but Lupin III definitely had them outgunned.
  9. Assuming you want a largely anglophone city, I would place it on the west coast of Lake Superior. It's an appropriately named Great Lake for a superhero city and that way you can have a dock district.
  10. Colorado has a Romeo and Juliet law (also called “the close-in-age exemption” to statutory rape). Under this exception: minors under 15 may have consensual sex with partners who are less than four years older, and minors age 15 or 16 may have consensual sex with partners who are less than 10 years older.
  11. To be fair it was never worth what he paid for it so it isn't as steep a decline as it sounds.
  12. HE AFFAIR OF THE MYSTERIOUS LETTER BY ALEXIS HALL
  13. That will put the McConnell court in the position of having to balance their anti-abortion stance with their anti-federal regulation stance.
