There's nostalgia value in updating old stuff, there's people who don't have access to the old stuff, and there's people who have access to the old stuff but don't have the time or skill to update it for a play session themselves.
 
I'd prefer that new stuff be written since I like pretending my favorite game system is still alive and well. And it's more fun to read about new things.
 
But I assume that "people who have no disposable income and thus can't buy a product no matter how awesome it is" will never be an author's target audience. So what I like doesn't matter except as a matter of curiosity.

Conversions to 6th edition typically cost 50-100 points more than the older editions, largely because of the change in characteristics costs and elimination of figured characteristics.

I've Been working with Dennis on some other projects. The first project will be revising and updating of the League Of Champions. It's been taken down due to the revising and will be released as a print-on-demand title on DriveThruRPG. I will be creating other supplements with Heroic Publishing as well.

Well, Stacy gave the Heroic Publishing permission to use her and Pointsetta...err, I mean Sparkplug, in there stories. Which beats having to rename characters by force (I see you Marksman and Rose and Foxbat).

I have no idea how the rights work or how he got the ability to publish anything involving the characters.  He probably just asked if he could and they were fine with having their team in a comic book.

Wings of the Valkyrie disappeared rather quickly.
 
I caught absolute _hell_ trying to replace my copy.
 
Atlas Unleashed was just terrible.  Terrible.  Terribly terrible.  Leave it in whatever ditch you found it in.

I think he's still putting out Flare cheesecake but not Champions.

It should be noted that Sparkplug was published, as Poinsettia in one of the Enimies books.
