Re: Befuddle Loyalties Here is a strange way that might just work since you do not want a power that will have a direct effect on the environment: 12d6 Mind Control: Set Effect (Befuddle Loyalties) [6] As built, the power does target only one person but it would not hard to make it affect an area with the AoE modifier.

In most campaigns, there will be in some form of some clone of the ever-popular character Green Lantern. The character does not need to use a power ring like the namesake character, the only thing that matters is that the character gets his powers through some strange device (ala GL). It could be as simple as a direct copy and having a normal human with a power ring, or a person with a mystical suit that grants magical powers. When considered the possibilities are actually endless for such a character. I am curious as to what variations you have made on this over-popular archetype.

Re: Marvel Heroic Role playing compared to Champions/Hero System I really do not know this Marvel system other than what was shown here. However I believe that Champions is not for someone just starting RPGs for the fist time (the Marvel FASERIP system is better here), but this new Marvel seems to be even more complicated than Champions is and for even more advanced players.

Re: Demonic Swarm Here is a simple(?) solution that might just work: RKA, AoE (Any), Constant, Personal Immun, Extra Seg, -1/4 Inacc, Not vs Holy Barriers, Phys Manifestation The idea is that the character calls forth the swarm that will blindly attack anyone and anything that gets in their way (except the caster).
