Here is a strange concept that recently came up. As humans move into space everything that we that take with us must be reduce to its smallest state, including air and water. We have already gotten a start in this department by dehydrating most of our food and even going beyond food into other things this still holds true. We are even continuing the trend by eliminating paper (at least there are those who would like to) and putting anything currently on paper onto electronic form. However, if we could remove most of the mass of water, then imagine what that would do to the travel off-planet (or in general). Lets hear any thoughts about what you may think about how this would impact any part of society, not just travel.

Re: Avian Aliens I disagree on the STR. When compared to size, most raptors are actually stronger than humans are. Plus since you are modeling them after raptors, a small HKA would be helpful too (that would be the claws).

Re: Telephone conversations in combat I don't beleve that you were being mean. The basic question here is: how well respected are your PCs? If they are well respected then they are treated better than the average joe on the street. At no time though they should ever expect to get an instant response from any agency, especially one that would get an overwelming level of calls such as UNTIL would. The die roll is only ment as a guide, never as a hard and fast rule, so it can be modified as necessary. And remember, just because someone has a phone (even a mobile one) does not mean that they will always carry it. The transfer of information occurs only as fast as a person can read it, regardless of how fast the tech can carry the info, so that is how fast the data should be determined to be transported at.

Re: I've... forgotten how to run Champions... Here is a suggestion that you may not want nor desire: Get off the puter and talk with the the other players. Tell them what has been going on and how you have been feeling. They may have some great ideas for how to solve the problem and if they cannot help you, then at least then they will be more understanding of what is going on and why you have been behaving the way you have been.

Re: Transplanted Immortality I agree with Badger - the clone will be a whole new person. The day that my original body dies is the day that I have died regardless if I have successfully moved into a clone or not. That new clone will have been born on the day that he was given the spark of life. the fact that my past was used to make him believe that he had a past makes things worse and actually violates my soul. As a result if i ever discover that anyone has found out a way of doing this, i would be against it.
