  1. Kayla Rinko is the Dipsomancer. The more she drinks, the more powerful the spell she can do. CES
  2. The L'rax is a flying, pulsating orb of energy. It's main power is the ability to reverse physical conditions so the target is opposite of its original state. It has been trapped on Earth for a long time and wishes to find the door home. Its targets are usually scientific installations engaged in dimensional research CES
  3. It didn't help that Todd MacFarlane sued over Nightspawn/nightbane CES
  4. Also Franks has more than one kid out there. And his elixer works on them too. CES
  5. The one german guy knew better but took the job anyway. He was in Vegas when Franks and Pitt blew the crap out of the dragon that hit the strip. Someone walks away from something like that, you don't take them on without serious backup, no matter how high the bounty. Even though Harbinger ripped Franks apart singlehandedly, before that he had already decided to sit out the manhunt before they had the admin meeting. The bounty was too high, too many people trying to collect it, and Franks as Franks. CES
  6. Corriea is being coy, but I am pretty sure Stricken is a vampire of some type. I don't know how he is getting around in the daylight, but he has the speed, strength, complexion, and eye problems as a vampire. Also the church's secret guard might be able to fit in as background checks. CES
  7. Heather was released and on Beth and her husband's strike team that Franks destroyed. Some of the rival teams from Vendetta was destroyed by Franks during their stand off. CES
  8. Not lighting the set helps cut down on production costs CES
  9. Storytelling time. let's see if I can get this right. Once upon a time, a lady named Howard became a representative to the House congress of a place called North Carolina. She worked tirelessly for her colleagues called Republicans. One day she helped pass a law where men who were like women and vice versa weren't allowed to go to the bathroom they were comfortable with, discrimination had to be answered in a court higher than North Carolina's own, and local towns couldn't be allowed to determine what they would pay to merchants for their services. A great cry ensued against the law. Things were done that limited its effectiveness despite the Republican bulwark. Howard stood and said never shall we let someone false use the bathroom. it's the law of the land. A great industry called the ACC decided that it would no longer work its magic in the land of the Tarheel. Part of that magic was in Howard's own district. Her district stands to lose the most of any, reduced to poverty again. Howard stood and said get rid of the law so my people can live. CES
  10. I think it's the potential for graft that this law embodies that has most of them doing this. This has the same smell as the anti gay marriage amendment CES
  11. NCAA has pulled their championships from the state over HB2. Republicans double down, saying they won't abandon such an important law (that has had part of it struck down, and some of the rest rewritten) that protects women from crossdressers in public bathrooms. CES
  12. The story said passersby saw this car on fire, called police and FD. When the fire was put out, they examined the body and found that the victim had been shot. Then they ID'ed the body. I think the theory is that he was shot first and then set on fire to cover it up. I haven't seen any follow up so I don't know if they tracked the shooter down yet. CES
  13. Oh yeah, before I forget Jill Stein and her VP are wanted for their parts in the protest of the pipeline in the Dakotas. I think vandalism is the charge, but I am not sure CES
  14. Not the presidential race, but political to a degree. My state, NC, has passed a law called HB2 which had three announced parts when it was signed in. The first part is that transgendered people have to go to the bathroom of their sex on their birth certificate. The second was discrimination cases would have to go to federal court instead of state court (which was repealed), and no city could write an ordinance that might be considered infringing on the state's power. The first part of the law was struck down for public schools by the 4th District. Charlotte Meckleburg went back to allowing trans to go to their appropriate bathroom and told the governor to suck it. Delivering the Journal today, I noticed that McCrory stated that another part of the law not commented on was a minimum wage freeze for the state, and he blamed the law on the chamber of commerce for helping to write it. Seriously a wage freeze in the middle of a discrimination law. I am glad my son talked me into voting. I can't wait to vote against this goon. CES

  19. I dont think the director cared about the source material as such. I saw a rumor that he wanted to get rid of Sue for some reason. CES
  20. The Metric Man has the ability to change his position by the different type of meters meaning he can fine tune a position a centimeter away, to blasting kilometers away in an escape attempt. He can also do that to other people and things. CES

  23. Captain Airwave had a command of radio and video where he could use radio signals to communicate, teleport, and essentially coordinate actions based on what he could gather from enemy communications. CES
  24. A master of stealth and infiltration, the Lead Tiger was also a supreme master of martial arts. Missions assigned to him used the rest of the Dragons as distractions while he assassinated the target. CES
