Demonsong
I am putting together a being/creature/thing for my campaign that’s only major ability is to dispel magic. But I want to add some flavor to it. Any time said creature uses said power I want it to radiate a sort of super natural field of hostility toward all spell casters. That it to say all spell casters that see this creature use this power (for any reason or on any thing) they will hate and loath said creature. Now should I describe that as a character disadvantage or as a limitation? If it is a limitation I am not sure that it would be worth much because of its limited effect, so I assume it should be a -0 Limitation if that is the route I go. Input? Thanks Demonsong
Pattern Ghost
Sounds like a single command Mind Control to get the hate and loathing effect. Since it's not beneficial to the critter, I'd probably allow it to be taken as a side effect even though it's an attack on someone else. As long as all it does is create the emotions, but not require the other characters to act on those emotions in any predetermined way, it shouldn't be to abusive. Dust Raven
A Side Effect Limitations seems most appropriate (-1/2)
Son of Fire
Perhaps a limited form of a Presence attack?

Thanks Demonsong Does the aura force the spell casters to hate the thing, or is it a natural reaction to something that can negate their powers? If it forces hatred in any spell caster, it's probably a linked mind control or side effect as suggested already. If not, it may just be a distinctive feature. 5 Easily concealed (don't use the power) 10 Caueses extreme reaction -5 Detectable by large group (Spellcasters only) Total 10 points. Snarf
If it's a minor, non-supernatural hate you could use the -1/4 Noisy limitation. The spell is "deafening" to anyone that can sense magic, and the annoyance is roleplayed.
Spearmint
This appears to be a "Hunted" by all magic users. The hunters are more powerfull and seek to do great harm and the recognition is very high. However, your creature has a secret identity which it will give away by using it power. The effect you describe are disads.
