Tech
Cruising through my e-mail, I noticed something someone had sent to me, regarding roleplaying games. This rates Champions as #1, although it should actually have said the Hero Games 5th Edition Rules. I thought you might be curious to look at it. http://roleplaygames.about.com/cs/rpgtoppicks/tp/5picksupers.htm No, this isn't a major review. However, it's still interesting to see another website saying how good Hero Games products are. Oh, yes, don't forget to see that this review is by a lady. Yes, there are women rpgers out there. devlin1
Re: Hero Games #1 Well, it does specify the superhero genre, so Champions would be accurate. But yeah, I'm glad the World's Only Female Gamer has come out in favor of Champions. I kid, I kid....
Dust Raven
Re: Hero Games #1 You know, besides one player, I'm the only male in my group. It's a strange reversal, but perhaps I'm the luckiest RPGer And it's great to hear anyone talk good about Hero/Champions on places other than company run bulletin boards. My group's 50/50 male/female, although for a while a few years ago I was running a Champions campaign with just 3 female players. I'm not sure that it really is as big a deal as it once was. Girls do in fact game.

Pegasus
Re: Hero Games #1 Female gamers? Yeah right. I'll believe it when I see it. Everybody's heard of the Female Gamer urban legend. Seems everyone has a friend who has played with one. Come on. When are these stories going to end? It's as phony as the Kidney Heist, or the Easter Bunny, or Canada! Heheh. But I think our current incarnation has a great chemistry. We continue to surprise each other and we all play off of one another very well.
